Purchase Aweber!!

WEBSITE DETAILS
TOPIC: A professional email autoresponder service which allows you to build unlimited double optin email list, create followup messages and broadcast messages, create optin forms and much, much more.

ABOUT AWEBER
Aweber is a professional, 3rd party, email autoresponder service. You pay a monthly subscription in exchange for their services which include;
- Unlimited Lists!!
- Unlimited Followup Messages!!
- Unlimited Broadcast Messages!!
- Optin Webform Creation Tool!!
- Training Guides and Videos!!
- Unlimited Customer Support!!

In this review I am going to go through all of the features of Aweber and then state my opinion on each of them.

1) UNLIMITED LISTS:- This is a feature I did not use initially. I just had one major list for The Ebook Cavern Newsletter and my thinking was “I only have one newsletter so why would I need extra lists?”. However, I soon learned the benefits of this feature. Although, I was running one newsletter people were joining this newsletter for a number of reasons. Some people were joining to get the leaked chapter of “How to set up a Successful, Automated Ebook Business on eBay”, some people were joining to get the latest updates on The Ebook Cavern Reviews and some people were joining to get eBay tips.

By using multiple lists I could create a leaked chapter list, an ebook reviews list, an eBay list and a main list. Everyone who joined would be added to the main list and also the relevant list e.g. if they joined from The Ebook Cavern Reviews Blog they would be added to the ebook reviews list and the main list. I would then send the monthly Ebook Cavern Newsletter to the main list (so everyone would receive this), updates on The Ebook Cavern Reviews to the ebook reviews list, updates on “How to set up a Successful, Automated Ebook Business on eBay” to the leaked chapter list and eBay tips and ebooks to the eBay list. By using multiple lists in this way I could provide the various subscribers to The Ebook Cavern Newsletter with more relevant content.

Overall, although this is a slightly advanced feature it is one that has allowed me to really improve the quality of my email marketing campaigns. Plus, once you start trying multiple lists out they really aren’t that hard to implement. I think it is a really good feature and since the lists are unlimited I will never run out, allowing me to expand my email marketing campaigns without contraint.

2) UNLIMITED FOLLOWUP MESSAGES:- Followup messages are pre-written messages that you send to subscribers at pre-determined intervals. For example, if you sign up for a ‘7 Day eBay Tips’ email course it is likely that these are sent to you via a followup system. As soon as you subscribe the eBay tips (which have already been written and loaded into the autoresponder) will be sent to you automatically each day.

Again, this is another feature I did not initially use to great lengths. I set up one followup message for each list which went out automatically after readers confirmed their subscription. This followup message simply thanked subscribers for their subscription and provided them with a link to their free ebooks. Whilst there was nothing wrong with this approach I quickly learnt that I was not using followup messages to their full potential.

Followup messages are useful for a number of reasons but I’ve found them particularly useful for distributing my resellable ebooks. When I complete a new ebook with resell rights and I want my subscribers to know about it, I send an email out to them all. However, people who subscribe to my list after this email was sent will miss out on the free ebook. If I create a followup message containing the download links all new subscribers will get the message about this new ebook whether they subscribe 1 day or 1 year after it was created. Followup messages are also a great way to keep subscribers aware of your newsletter. If you send out a monthly newsletter, they may have forgotten who you are by the time it arrives, but with followup messages you can keep in regular contact with them automatically.

3) UNLIMITED BROADCAST MESSAGES:- Broadcast messages are messages that you send to one or more of your lists when there is something you want them to know about. For example, if your latest newsletter was ready to read, you could send a broadcast to your list(s) letting them know.

Broadcast messages are one of the features I used right from the start to send out The Ebook Cavern Newsletter. Once I had the newsletter uploaded to my website I would type up a short message with a link to the current newsletter, then broadcast it to my entire list. Today, I pretty much use broadcast messages for the same purpose to send out my newsletter and make other announcements of importance.

Overall, this is a standard feature which you expect to get with most autoresponder services. However, I feel Aweber do perform well because they offer a number of additional options. First, they allow you to broadcast your message in plain text or HTML (allowing you to customise the look of the email, add pictures etc). Secondly, they allow you to schedule the time when your broadcast will be sent which I find really useful. For example, if your newsletter is due to go out on Sunday but you know you will be away for the weekend, you simply write your newsletter and schedule the broadcast for Sunday.

4) OPTIN WEBFORM CREATION TOOL:- This is another feature I used right from the start. As the name suggests, this feature allows you to create webforms which you place on webpages. Subscribers then enter their details to join your email list. Overall, this feature does the job but I found it rather basic. The webform creator is easy enough to use and you get to customise your webform but not in great detail.

5) TRAINING GUIDES AND VIDEOS:- If you have been reading the review so far and don’t have a clue about email marketing then this section will be just what you are looking for. There’s plenty of information, guides and videos on how to get started, how to set up lists, how to create followup messages and much more. To be perfectly honest, I haven’t actually used this section much. I’m one of those people who usually teaches myself. However, I have looked over the training area and the guides in particular look top notch with detailed screenshots and step by step instructions.

6) UNLIMITED CUSTOMER SUPPORT:- I’ve only used Aweber’s customer support once and I have to say it was absolutely top notch. I used their live support tool and was connected with one of a support assistant via an instant message screen. The problem I was having was to do with one of my lists. I explained the problem to the support assistant and they told me why it was happening and then sorted it out for me there and then. Overall, I found their customer support very quick and very helpful. I couldn’t really ask for anything more.

As you can probably tell I really like Aweber and could not operate without them. If you are looking to get into email marketing it contains all the features you should ever need. Most importantly, there are no limits so you will never find that you can’t send another broadcast message or that you can’t create another list. The automation is another key feature for me. You can pretty much set up lists, followup messages and then just leave them to do their work which I find really helpful.

My only minor criticism of Aweber is the webform creator being limited. It does the job but it would have been nice if there was a quick and easy tool which allows you to create flashy webforms. However, you can simply place the webform code in a HTML editor and then do some design work so this is not a major issue at all.

In conclusion, I would recommend Aweber to those new to email marketing and to those who are little more experienced. I am relatively experienced now and I still highly rate the service. However, when I started I did not have a clue about email marketing. I simply paid my subscription, read a few ebooks on the topic and got stuck in. As I have become more comfortable with email marketing I have been able to incorporate more advanced features such as multiple lists and followup messages without any hassle. Quite honestly, Aweber is one of the best investments I ever made when starting out in Internet Marketing.

GOOD POINTS
- Unlimited lists, followups and broadcast messages mean that your email marketing is completely unrestricted.
- You can automate a lot of things with Aweber meaning once you have set up your lists, followup messages etc, you save a lot of time.
- Excellent customer support.

BAD POINTS
- The webform creator is rather limited.
- The price is higher than some of the other email autoresponder services.

HOW I HAVE GAINED FROM AWEBER
Before Aweber I had my eBay store and a reviews website. Now I have multiple email lists that are growing by the day. This provides me with a highly targetted source of traffic for my newsletters, products and websites - a truly unique asset.

FORMAT: Adobe Acrobat (.pdf)
NUMBER OF PAGES: 61
SUBJECT: Blogging to the Bank 2.0. covers the topic of creating and driving traffic to profitable blogs.

ABOUT BLOGGING TO THE BANK
In Blogging to the Bank 2.0., Rob Benwell covers the topic of building a blogging empire step-by-step. The topics include;
- The Last 16 Months & My Quest!!
- The 5 Blogging Commandments!!
- The Step-by-Step Blueprint for Highly Profitable, Long Term, Niche Blogs!!
- Market Research & Keyphrase Lists!!
- Owning your Blogs - Domains & Hosting!!
- Making your Blog!!
- Content!!
- Optimising your Blog!!
- Pinging!!
- Promotion & Backlinks!!
- Web 2.0. Traffic & Promotion!!
- Outsourcing & Building your Blog Empire!!

Rob Benwell begins Blogging to the Bank 2.0. by looking back at the 16 months since the release of the original Blogging to the Bank. Rob discusses the impact this release had on blogs (particularly Blogger blogs) and how this led to the creation of his five blogging commandments. The five blogging commandments are what Rob believes are essential for your blogs success and provide an overview of the whole ebook. Obviously, I cannot spoil Rob’s ebook by revealing them here but they do contain some good information to keep your visitors coming back and reading your blog. After this introduction Rob gets into the main body of his ebook.

Rob begins by discussing Market Research & Keyphrase Lists. This is a very important stage as it ultimately determines what you will be blogging about. Rob emphasises the importance of taking your time and discusses how you can find affiliate products using ClickBank. He also describes how to to do some basic keyword research using a couple of free tools. Overall, I found this chapter to be a great introduction to affiliate marketing and in particular keyword research. Before reading the chapter I knew almost nothing about keyword research and whilst I’m still no expert I now know the basics of optimising my blog and its pages.

Rob then moves on to discuss creating your blog. First, he outlines how to actually install your blog. Then he moves on to discuss the four options available to you when getting content for your blog. After this he outlines how to optimise, monetise and ping your blog. Overall, this section of Blogging to the Bank 2.0 contains a lot of good information. I was particularly impressed by Rob’s use of screenshots and instructions to explain his ideas. I’m a big fan of screenshots and feel they really help beginners. The section on monetisation was also a real help for me too. My main criticism of this section was that Rob does not explain how to automate the pinging of your blog. This is a relatively simple process but for some reason Rob ignores it.

If you have followed Rob’s instructions up to this point you should have your blog ready to go. Logically, Rob goes on to outline how you can promote your blog and get some traffic. The topics he covers in this section include basic promotion techniques (including article syndication, forum marketing and link exchanges) and Web 2.0. techniques. Web 2.0. is a phrase that describes the trend in web development towards creativity, collaboration and sharing between users (good examples of successful Web 2.0. websites are Facebook and YouTube). Whilst the basic promotion techniques are good, I was very impressed with the Web 2.0. section. Before reading this chapter I had stuck primarily to article marketing but now I have my first Squidoo lens out there and I am getting a lot of extra traffic from social bookmarking sites. My main criticism about this chapter is the section on DIGG (a social bookmarking site). Whilst Rob did open my eyes to a very good resource he did not make it clear that DIGG will ban you if you just submit your own blog posts, which is what happened to me.

Rob finishes his ebook by discussing some advanced techniques including outsourcing the creation of your blogs, creating your own product in the market you are blogging for and even selling your blog. I have not tried any of the techniques in this section yet but I am planning on creating some of my own products to sell to my blog readers.

In conclusion, I would highly recommend Blogging to the Bank 2.0. if you are looking to start your first blog, or even get more serious with your current blogging. After reading Rob’s ebook I decided to make my first serious blog (i.e. a blog in a niche topic that I would be updating regularly) and whilst I am not making nearly enough to retire on, I am generating an increased amount of traffic and revenue each month as a direct result of Rob’s techniques. My main criticisms of Blogging to the Bank 2.0. are that Rob seems to miss certain things out. A section on how to ping your blog automatically would have been really useful to some readers and there are a number of helpful WordPress plugins I have come across that Rob does not feature in his ebook. However, these are only small criticisms. By following the instructions inside Blogging to the Bank 2.0. I believe a relative beginner could quite easily get a monetised blog online in a short period of time.

GOOD POINTS
- Very detailed instructions and informative screenshots make it easy to implement the ideas as you read. It is ideal for beginners.
- All the neccessary topics are covered from installing and creating your blog right through to promoting it.
- Contains links to a lot of good, free tools and resources.
- Rob’s discussion of Web 2.0. techniques is highly useful.
- Rob’s diagram of how to monetise your blog really helped me.

BAD POINTS
- There is no section on how to ping your blog automatically.
- I feel Rob has missed out a number of useful WordPress plugins.
- I feel Rob should have discussed how to schedule your posts in WordPress.

HOW I HAVE GAINED FROM BLOGGING TO THE BANK 2.0.
Before reading Blogging to the Bank 2.0. I primarily used my blogs as a replacement for some of my existing websites because they are easier to update. However, after reading this ebook I have taken the plunge and created my first, serious niche blog that I update regularly. Plus, I have become aware of the huge potential social bookmarking has to offer.

SubmitYourArticle.Com Review

SubmitYourArticle.Com

SERVICE DETAILS
SubmitYourArticle.Com is an article distribution service. For a monthly fee they will distribute 8 of your articles per month to hundreds of publishers and article directories for you. They also provide a service entitled article leverage which allows you to alter parts of your article, so that a slightly different version of your article appears at each different article directory.

ABOUT SUBMITYOURARTICLE.COM
As I have explained above SubmitYourArticle.Com is an article distribution service which distributes your article for you and also comes with the additional article leverage service which alters your article slightly for each new directory it appears in. To review this service I will talk you through the typical article distribution process using SubmitYourArticle.Com and article leverage then provide an overall opinion on the service.

So to begin you log into your account and click the ‘Submit an Article’ button. You are then presented with a form requiring you to enter; the article title, the article itself (in plain text format), your resource box/author bio box in both plain text and HTML format (useful if you want your links to be anchor text links), a short description of the article, the article keywords, the article URL (for example if you have published the article on your website you may want to enter that URL here) and the article category. Then you preview your article and if everything’s OK then you can save it. Overall, this stage is pretty simple and is no different from entering your article into a normal article directory form.

Once your article has been saved you have the options to edit it, publish it or delete it. At this stage you may also notice one of SubmitYourArticle.Com’s additional features - Article Boost. If there are any potential problems with your article that may prevent them from being published, Article Boost will detect them and notify you here. You can then make the necessary edits to your article. I’ve found this to be a pretty useful feature because sometimes my article is too long or not formatted correctly, so it’s good to know this right away.

After this you will want to submit your article. You have the option to submit it normally meaning the same article goes out to all directories or via Article Leverage which means an altered version of your article is sent to each article directory. If you choose normal distribution then you’re finished - that’s all you have to do to submit your article. However, if you choose article leverage there are a few more stages. I generally choose article leverage to avoid the issue of duplicate content.

If you submit via Article Leverage the first screen will ask you to enter two or more variations of your article title. You just think of as many as you can and then wack them in here. Next you are asked to enter a variation or two on your existing introduction. Then your asked to enter variations of random sentences within your article. After this you are asked to enter variations on your plain text and HTML resource boxes which is useful if one article can potentially promote multiple websites. Once you’ve done this you are taken to a preview page where you can view potential variations of your article. Once your happy with everything you can complete the final step and distribute your article. Overall, article leverage takes an additional 20-30 minutes but I think it is time well spent.

So that’s all their is to the SubmitYourArticle.Com service. Using Article Leverage I would say it takes a maximum of 30 minutes to submit your article - a significant time saver if you compare the time it would take for you to submit your article to every article directory manually. I’ve also got to compliment the customer service at SubmitYourArticle.Com. When I started out I had a query and they responded promptly and were very helpful.

So do I have any criticisms? Well my first criticism is that they limit the number of articles you can submit each month to 8. Although I haven’t managed to write more than 8 in a month it would be nice to submit unlimited articles each month for the fee. Secondly, your article distribution credits do not carry over into the next month. If you only submit 5 articles in month 1 then you cannot submit 11 in month 2. This is quite annoying if you are a bit slow with your article writing one month.

Overall, I highly recommend the service. Although the limits on article distribution are slightly annoying it is such a relief to just enter your article into the form and then let SubmitYourArticle.Com do the rest. Manually submitting articles used to take me hours but now I can have unique versions of my article out there within 30 minutes. Plus, they also provide you with a lot of additional information and advice concerning article marketing. I’ve learnt a lot from the SubmitYourArticle.Com newsletter which has helped me improve my articles, titles and resource boxes. SubmitYourArticle.Com have provided me with lots of new information, a great service and saved me huge amounts of time which in my opinion is well worth the monthly fee.

GOOD POINTS
- Seriously reducest the time to submit an article to hundreds of directories.
- Article Boost identifies potential problems with your article that you may have missed yourself.
- Article Leverage allows you to distribute unique versions of your article to all the directories. I can’t even imagine how long this would have taken manually.
- The additional resources on article marketing are really useful and have taught me a lot.

BAD POINTS
- You can only submit 8 articles per month.
- You cannot carry over article credits to the next month so if you do not submit 8 articles each month you are losing out.

HOW I HAVE GAINED FROM SUBMITYOURARITCLE.COM
First and foremost it has saved me a huge amount of time. Submitting articles manually is a long and tedious process which has now been reduced to around 30 minutes thanks to SubmitYourArticle.Com. Secondly, I have learnt how to improve the quality of my articles, titles and resource boxes so that they got more views, more clicks and ultimately generate more traffic for me.

Mailing Lists Unleashed Review

Mailing Lists Unleashed!!

EBOOK DETAILS
FILE SIZE: 1,484kb Zipped, 1,531kb Unzipped.
FORMAT: Adobe Acrobat (.pdf)
NUMBER OF PAGES: 79
SUBJECT: Mailing Lists Unleashed is an all inclusive guide from Lee McIntyre detailing how to build and profit from your very own mailing list.

ABOUT LEE MCINTYRE (AUTHOR OF MAILING LISTS UNLEASHED)
Lee McIntyre is a teacher who has already successfully sold digital products online in the teaching niche. Although Lee has only been trading online since 2006 he is a true success, selling 600+ copies of his first Internet Marketing ebook, Auction Profits Unleashed, during pre-launch alone. Since then Lee has launched a number of successful ebooks, a membership site and an excellent newsletter.

ABOUT MAILING LISTS UNLEASHED
Inside Mailing Lists Unleashed, Lee McIntyre details the importance of building a responsive email list if you want to succeed online. He explains how to go about building, maintaining and profiting from your very own email list and illustrates this with stories from his past experience and insightful screenshots. The topics Lee covers include;
- Why the traditional model of Affiliate Marketing is flawed!!
- How to automate your List Building Efforts!!
- How to create a Sizzling Squeeze Page!!
- How to create an Effective Thankyou Page!!
- How to create an Effective Confirmation Page!!
- How to create your very first Newsletter!!
- How to profit from your List!!

After a short introduction, Lee criticises the traditional model of affiliate marketing. He believes the core advice is correct but the way people are encouraged to execute it is poor, using the idea of football (soccer) to illustrate his ideas further. Overall, Lee believes that focussing on just achieving sales is a short-term approach. Focussing on building a list is (in Lee’s eyes) a much better long-term approach. It allows you to build a business because you can leverage today’s efforts multiple times in the future. I agree with what Lee says in this chapter. By building a list the traffic you generate can be utilised multiple times and it is a much more efficient system than sending leads direct to a sales page.

Next, Lee goes on to discuss how to automate your list building activities. The best way to do this is by taking advantage of the services of an autoresponder. Lee and myself both recommend the services of Aweber to automate your list because of their brilliant email delivery record. In this chapter, Lee explains in great detail how to use Aweber and set it up your first list. He includes some great nuggets of information including; how to keep subscribers on your list and how to effectively brand yourself. Overall, this chapter provides a great introduction to Aweber, particularly for beginners looking to start their first list. The screenshots are really helpful if you are struggling with any areas of the setup. However, if you are experienced in the use of Aweber you will probably be able to skip right through this chapter.

In the third section of Mailing Lists Unleashed the topic of squeeze pages (pages that are designed to collect the name and email address of visitors and add them to your list) is covered. Lee describes how he decides what to include on his squeeze pages, his 6 golden squeeze page rules and also provides some squeeze page examples. I found this section quite useful because it allowed me to evaluate my own squeeze pages critically. In particular, Lee’s 6 golden squeeze page rules allowed me to check that I had included all the critical information in my own squeeze pages.

Next Lee goes on to discuss in greater detail how to add the web form to your squeeze pages using Aweber. Like the previous chapter on Aweber the information here is informative and the screenshots really make it easy to follow. However, it is aimed more at the beginner who is doing this for the first time. I cannot fault the information itself but if you have created a few web forms in Aweber previously you are unlikely to learn anything new.

Following this Lee goes on to cover thankyou pages. A thankyou page is the page that subscribers see after they have entered their details into the web form. If you do not create a unique thankyou page Aweber will show subscribers a default page. However, Lee believes that it is imperative for you to create your own thankyou pages because it can increase the number of subscribers who confirm their subscription. He then goes on to explain his 4 thankyou page rules which are in a similar vein to his 6 golden squeeze page rules, and as always includes screenshots of some of his thankyou pages for illustration. I found this chapter to be another informative one. It was not quite as useful as the chapter on squeeze pages but the 4 thankyou page rules were good nonetheless.

After this Lee goes on to cover confirmation pages. These are similar to thankyou pages but instead of appearing immediately after the customer has entered their name and email address, they appear once the customer has confirmed their subscription to your list. The chapter is laid out in a similar way to the previous ones with Lee explaining how to set up a confirmation page in Aweber, then listing his 3 confirmation page rules and finally providing some screenshots for illustration. Although this chapter is laid out in a similar way to previous ones I feel I learnt a lot by reading it, because at the time of reading I was not utilising my confirmation pages effectively. Reading this chapter brought that fact to my attention and allowed me to do something about it.

Once you get to this stage of Mailing Lists Unleashed you should have your automated email list building system in place (if you have been acting upon the advice as you read). Subscribers who enter their details on your squeeze page will be directed to a thankyou page. This thankyou page will encourage subscribers to confirm their subscription. If they do this they will then reach the confirmation page. All this will take place automatically without you having to lift a finger.

Now that everything is set up Lee goes on to cover the next stage of the process - creating your first newsletter. Lee first discusses how his very own Lee McIntyre Newsletter boasts a very low unsubscribe rate and a very high response rate because he does things a little differently to many email marketers. He then goes on to explain how to make your own newsletter unique by breaking a number of the established email marketing rules. Lee finishes the chapter off by detailing how to increase the reach of your newsletters and also how to make a little money with them too. Overall, this was one of the most useful chapters for me. After reading it I found a lot of areas in my newsletters which required improvement. If I had not read Mailing Lists Unleashed they would have gone unnoticed.

Next Lee goes on to describe how to distribute your newsletter with Aweber. As with all the previous chapters on Aweber, Lee provides plenty of screenshots and lots of description to ensure that the beginners can follow. The chapter is very informative but for those who have some experience with Aweber the knowledge will be of limited use.

Lee heads into the final chapter of Mailing Lists Unleashed by discussing how to profit from your list by setting up a few follow up emails (emails that are sent out to subscribers after a pre-determined interval e.g. followup email 1 can be sent 3 days after subscription, followup email 2 can be sent 2 days after that etc). Lee goes into great detail outlining what he would include in each of these follow up emails which I personally found very useful. Overall, this chapter was the one from which I gained the most. Before reading this chapter I really was neglecting my followup emails. However, with Lee’s detailed instructions this was easily ammended.

In conclusion I highly recommend Mailing Lists Unleashed to both beginners and more experienced email marketers. The screenshots and detailed instructions that Lee provide make it easy for someone to set up their first email newsletter as they read. However, the little touches that Lee recommends to; maintain subscriber loyalty, increase the amount of money your list makes and make readers more responsive to you can really help enhance your email list. The ebook is not without its faults. Lee does not cover all topics with the same level of detail. In particular, the subjects of negotiating product discounts and driving traffic to your squeeze page are only covered briefly. Nevertheless, if you want to start your own email list but find yourself lost Mailing Lists Unleashed is a good place to start.

GOOD POINTS
- Very detailed instructions and informative screenshots make it easy to implement the ideas as you read. It is ideal for beginners.
- Lee’s unique ideas will make your subscribers a lot more receptive to your emails.
- If you follow Lee’s instructions your email list will be largely automated once set up.

BAD POINTS
- Certain points, including traffic generation and negotiating product discounts for your list, are not discussed in a great level of detail. This is particularly noticeable when compared with the majority of Mailing Lists Unleashed which is highly detailed.

HOW I HAVE GAINED FROM MAILING LISTS UNLEASHED
Whilst reading Mailing Lists unleashed I picked upon a number of small but useful improvements for my newsletter. However, the most significant benefit for me was the section on followup emails. I really learnt a lot here about what I was doing wrong and what I needed to do to improve this situation.

Viral PDF Review

November 11th, 2007

SOFTWARE DETAILS
FILE SIZE: 1,901kb Zipped, 1,967kb Unzipped.
FORMAT: Executable (.exe)
SUBJECT: Viral PDF allows you to create brandable PDFs so that when you create your own PDF files you can allow readers to rebrand certain links with their own links.

ABOUT SEAN KELLY (CREATOR OF VIRAL PDF)
Sean Kelly is a software developer who creates software applications related to PDF files. His products include PDF Locker, PDF Printer and Viral PDF.

ABOUT VIRAL PDF
Viral PDF is a piece of software allowing you to brand PDF files that you have created. What this means is that you can allow readers to rebrand certain links within the PDF with their own links. For example, maybe you could allow readers to change certain links to their own website. Alternatively, you could allow readers to convert links to your own product into affiliate links so that they would get a commission everytime this link generates a sale.

You may be wondering why you would want to allow readers to change certain links in your report when you’ve gone to all the trouble of creating it. Well there are a number of reasons, but the main application will be if you want your PDF to go viral i.e. you want it to be distributed as widely as possible across the Internet. For example, if you have created a short report which contains links to your premium product and has the main purpose of selling your premium product, you will want as many people as possible to see this report. The more people that see the report, the more chances you have to sell your premium product.

So first you will grant resell rights and/or giveaway rights to this report. However, what’s the incentive for people to resell/giveaway your report instead of other reports? What about a cut of all the commissions that their report generates? If they can rebrand this report with their affiliate link to your product, then they will gain a commission everytime their report generates a sale for you, so they will be much more motivated to distribute it. It’s a win-win situation for both you and the reader. The reader wins because they get paid to distribute a product they haven’t even had to create. You win because you get affiliates selling your premium product for you. Therefore, by making your report brandable, you can seriously increase it’s distribution across the Internet.

Now you know what Viral PDF does and why you would want to use it in this way, I will now discuss Viral PDF’s ease of use. Basically, you prepare your ebook as normal except the links and text you want to rebrand have to have an -8- tag on either side. Now I’ll be honest. It did take a little while getting used to writing my ebooks in this way, but once you’ve written a few ebooks which have been formatted for rebranding you start to get the hang of it. The instruction manual that is included with Viral PDF is well written and explains this tag system perfectly. Once you have tagged everything (text and links) you want to rebrand, you can then convert the document into PDF format.

There are two pieces of software included with Viral PDF; the Viral PDF Signer and the Viral PDF Rebrander. Once you’ve written your ebook in the correct format and converted it into PDF, the next step is to sign the PDF file. To do this, you open the Viral PDF Signer, drag across the PDF file you want to be signed, click Sign and then save it. This really is an easy step (just drag and drop) and once you have done this your PDF file is all ready to be rebranded. The signed copy is what you will be distributing to your customers with the Viral PDF Rebrander so they can rebrand it.

Overall, Viral PDF is not the easiest product to use. You don’t simply select the links and choose what you want them replaced with. However, once you’ve done a few test runs it gets pretty easy to use. What I really liked about Viral PDF was Sean Kelly’s customer service. I was having problems with the Viral PDF Signer not working with my PDFs (I was using Open Office to create my PDF files). Sean got in touch promptly saying the problem was due to the formatting of Open Office PDFs and he would begin work on an update immediately. Sure enough, in a couple of days Sean sent me the update and it worked perfectly.

My main criticism of this product is that it doesn’t seem to support encrypted PDF files. Therefore, people can copy the text within your branded PDF file. Apart from that I have no complaints. Viral PDF does everything Sean says it will and once you’ve had a few runs it’s pretty simple to use.

GOOD POINTS

  • You can give your customers more incentive to distribute your ebooks.

Auction Secret Profits Review

Auction Secret Profits!!

EBOOK DETAILS
FILE SIZE: 978kb Zipped, 1,032kb Unzipped.
NUMBER OF PAGES: 73
FORMAT: Adobe Acrobat (.pdf)
SUBJECT: A guide to generating viral traffic and income from eBay.

ABOUT LEE MCINTYRE (AUTHOR OF AUCTION SECRET PROFITS)
Lee McIntyre is a teacher who has already successfully sold digital products online in the teaching niche. Although Lee has only been trading online since 2006 he is a true success, selling 600+ copies of his first Internet Marketing ebook, Auction Profits Unleashed, during pre-launch alone. Since then Lee has launched a number of successful ebooks, a membership site and an excellent newsletter.

ABOUT AUCTION SECRET PROFITS
In Auction Secret Profits, Lee explains how you can use eBay to generate a lot of viral traffic and additional income. The topics Lee covers include:

  • The eBay Ebook Market!!
  • How to Profit from eBay Auctions without Selling Anything!!
  • Creating Short Reports!!
  • How giving away Ebooks can Make you More Money than Selling Them!!
  • How to get Ebook Sellers working for You!!

Lee begins Auction Secret Profits by discussing the eBay ebook market. In particular Lee discusses the flaws in the market and the mistakes that many eBay ebook sellers make (as an eBay ebook seller myself I thankfully don’t make make these mistakes). Lee then outlines how you can use the flaws in the eBay ebook market for your own personal gain. Overall, this section is a refreshing take on the eBay ebook market. If you browse many Internet Marketing forums you will see topics such as “The eBay ebook market is dead”. However, Lee has shown that there is indeed money to be made if you use a little creativity.

Next, Lee goes on to discuss how to measure the demand for different products on eBay. This is a lot easier than I thought it would be and all the research methods can be implemented on the actual eBay website. Lee even gives some suggestions to readers of the ebook as to what is currently in demand. For example, at the time of writing Auction Secret Profits, the World of Warcraft was one of these in demand products.

Once you have choosen a niche or product to focus on (based on your eBay research) you need to monetise it (make money from it). Lee discusses how to do this in great detail and even provides two different methods to monetise your chosen niche/product. Unfortunately, I can’t discuss these methods in this review as it would reveal too much of Lee’s subject matter and that is something I do not want to do. However, I assure you that it is great information for people who want to profit from eBay traffic and Lee really has overdelivered here.

In the next section of Auction Secret Profits, Lee discusses creating short reports based on your chosen product/niche. First, he discusses how you can research the information for your short report for free or at a very low cost. Then he provides a few quick writing tips. After this Lee discusses a number of other ways you could create your short reports including PLR and outsourcing. He also discusses monetising the report but as I said above I can’t really reveal this information in my review. Overall, this is a great section with the information being straight to the point. Most ebooks I have read that discuss product creation fail to mention that PLR and outsourcing can be used to ease the process.

At this point you will now have all the ingredients you need to generate viral traffic and income from eBay. You just need to get them out there. In the final section of Auction Secret Profits Lee discusses how to distribute your ebook. There are a lot of tips here which include making your ebook look professional, offering it to eBay ebook sellers and more. Although the information in this section is not very advanced this does give you a lot of ideas for distributing your ebook.

Overall, I’ve got to say this wasn’t an easy ebook to review. The nature of the information means that I can’t reveal to much without completely giving Lee’s game away. However, with Auction Secret Profits, Lee has provided a complete system for generating traffic and revenue from eBay WITHOUT listing your own auctions. It’s a very low cost system and with the examples Lee provides there really is no excuse why anyone can’t implement their own Auction Secret Profits system.

GOOD POINTS

  • Lee makes it very easy to measure demand on eBay.
  • I was really impressed with the section on creating your own short reports. Lee provides lots of resources which will help you - even if you have never created a product before.
  • Once your reports are out there that’s it. There is no more tweaking or maintenance required.

BAD POINTS

  • Lee could have provided links to some good ecover designers.
  • I don’t think the level of traffic from these methods is as great as Lee mentions.

HOW I HAVE GAINED FROM AUCTION SECRET PROFITS
As an eBay ebook seller myself I thankfully don’t make the mistakes that Lee mentions. I have created my own ebooks and am increasingly working on creating more and more of my own products. I implement a lot of the ideas Lee mentions inside Auction Secret Profits already. However, one area I need to seriously improve upon is testing. I get my ebooks out there but I don’t test the results. Lee explains how to do this so I just need to start doing it.

Auto Auction Income Review

September 11th, 2007

EBOOK DETAILS
File Size: 1,937kb Zipped, 2,030kb Unzipped.
Number of Pages: 64
Format: Adobe Acrobat (.pdf)
Subject: A guide to setting up and managing your eBay store and getting it ready to sell digital products.

ABOUT LEE MCINTYRE (AUTHOR OF AUTO AUCTION INCOME)
Lee McIntyre is a teacher who has already successfully sold digital products online in the teaching niche. Although Lee has only been trading online since 2006 he is a true success, selling 600+ copies of his first Internet Marketing ebook, Auction Profits Unleashed, during pre-launch alone.

ABOUT AUTO AUCTION INCOME
In his first ebook, Auction Profits Unleashed, Lee explained how he uses eBay to generate leads for digital products. In Auto Auction Income Lee takes a few steps back and outlines how to set up and manage your eBay store and get it ready to sell digital products. This is quite a comprehensive subject which Lee breaks down into the following chapters inside Auto Auction Income:

  • Setting Up Your eBay Empire the ‘Right Way’!!
  • Setting Up Your Own eBay Store!!
  • Managing Your eBay Store!!
  • Customising Your eBay Store!!
  • Creating Your eBay Listings!!
  • Digital Delivery Using E-Junkie!!
  • Digital Delivery Using DLGuard!!

In the first chapter “Setting Up Your eBay Empire the Right Way”, Lee describes his first experience of selling digital products on eBay and a key mistake that he made. Lee did not fully automate all aspects of his eBay business. A problem was thrown in his path which could have easily been avoided had his eBay business been fully automated. Instead the problem cost Lee 6 weeks of lost business - a loss which he values at $2500. This chapter is short and to the point but it teaches a vital lesson for those setting up their eBay stores - don’t cut corners and don’t miss anything out along the way.

The next chapter of Standing Start Profits is “Setting Up Your Own eBay Store”. Lee begins by outlining the benefits of an eBay store for serious sellers. He then goes on to cover in great detail with screenshots; registering with eBay, opening your eBay store and registering with Selling Manager Pro. This isn’t new information to me but for a beginner I can see how it would be useful.

After this the third chapter of Auto Auction Income covers “Managing You eBay Store”. Lee begins this section by explaining how to navigate around your ‘My eBay’ page and outlining what the various icons mean using screenshots. Next he explains (with screenshots again) how to automate various aspects of your eBay business including; the leaving of feedback, the sending of customised outgoing emails and most importantly the listing of your auctions. The information in this chapter is solid. In particular, the instructions on how to automatically list your auctions is a great time saver.

In the fourth chapter Lee covers “Customising Your eBay Store” and again illustrates all his instructions with screenshots. First, he covers the importance of having a unique shop logo, how to get one and how to get it online. After this Lee explains how to change the colours and layout of your eBay store. Following on from this Lee goes on to discuss how to set up store categories, how to set up promotion boxes, how to select your eBay store’s keywords and how to set up end of auction emails. You can discover most of the information in this chapter yourself simply by spending a few hours playing around with the various eBay store features located in ‘My eBay’. However, by reading Lee’s instructions you can save a lot of time and find out exactly what you need to do. Overall, another good, solid chapter.

Next Auto Auction Income goes on to cover “Creating Your eBay Listings”. Lee, like a lot of other sellers, recommends eBay’s Turbo Lister tool as the best way to create your eBay listings. I personally don’t use Turbo Lister - I instead create the listings using eBay’s Sell Your Item form then set them to automatically relist. Therefore, I haven’t been able to fully test this chapter. However, Lee goes into great detail explaining how to create your eBay listings in Turbo Lister and I’m sure I would have no trouble using Turbo Lister by following Lee’s instructions. My main criticism of this chapter is that Lee could have gone into a little more detail when covering the actual design of your auction. Those who are new to eBay are not likely to be familiar with designing listings in HTML and may require more information than is provided.

The final two chapters of Auto Auction Income are “Digital Delivery Using E-Junkie” and “Digital Delivery Using DLGuard” which both cover how to automatically deliver your digital products to customers after the payment has been made. E-Junkie and DLGuard are two tools that I do not use. I instead use the excellent My Digital Dispatch to automatically delivery my ebooks on eBay. However, Lee has again gone into great detail and used screenshots to explain how to use these two tools. I’m confident he has covered everything that potential users will need to know.

Overall, I really like the way Lee has presented Auto Auction Income. He has used a lot of screenshots and detailed instructions to explain the ideas and methods in his ebook. Presenting the information in this way makes it a lot easier for people that are not confident in using eBay to follow the information and ultimately set up their eBay store. Although for me the actual information is nothing new or groundbreaking - Lee’s presentation is excellent. If you are looking to set up your first eBay store and start selling digital products then there is some good information contained within Auto Auction Income. However, if you have some experience selling on eBay and have operated an eBay store for some time there may be little new information for you here.

GOOD POINTS

  • The detailed step-by-step instructions with screenshots are very easy to follow. You can implement them as you read.
  • Automating all the aspects of your eBay store, as Lee discusses in Auto Auction Income, will save you a considerable amount of time.
  • Auto Auction Income acts as a good checklist to make sure you have completed all the steps towards automating your eBay store.

BAD POINTS

  • I feel Lee could have provided a little more information covering the design of HTML listings.
  • People who have used eBay and eBay stores before may be familiar with some of the ideas Lee covers and find little new information.

HOW I HAVE GAINED FROM AUTO AUCTION INCOME
I have been operating my eBay ebook store for a number of years now and because of this I didn’t really find anything new inside Auto Auction Income. However, if I had read this ebook when I was starting out it would have been very useful to me - answering a lot of my questions and saving me a lot of time.

ABOUT LEE MCINTYRE (AUTHOR OF STANDING START PROFITS)
Lee McIntyre is a teacher who has already successfully sold digital products online in the teaching niche. Although Lee has only been trading online since 2006 he is a true success, selling 600+ copies of his first Internet Marketing ebook, Auction Profits Unleashed, during pre-launch alone.

ABOUT STANDING START PROFITS
Standing Start Profits provides subscribers with a number of resources for budding Internet Marketers which I have outlined below:

  • Mentoring Forum!!
  • Training Videos!!
  • Special Offers!!
  • Lee McIntyre Recommended!!
  • Expert Interviews!!
  • Marketing Tools!!
  • Extra Bonuses MRR!!
  • Extra Freebies!!
  • Rebrandable Reports!!

For this review I will go through Standing Start Profits section by section. The first section is the “Mentoring Forum”. The forum has lots of useful sections including ‘Ask the Experts’, ‘Internet Marketing Chat’ and my favourite section ‘eBay Advice and Guidance’. The forum is a great way for Standing Start Profits members to interact with each other. Although it’s not as busy as the Warrior Forum I like the fact that it has a special eBay section being an eBay seller myself.

Next are the “Training Videos”. The first video is entitled ‘Give and you shall Recieve’ and runs for just over 11 minutes. In this video Lee explains how he established himself online and gives the viewer two pieces of advice which he believes you should follow before you start trying to make money online. The next video is ‘Create a Product that’s in Demand’, a 10 minute video which as the title suggest describes product creation. The third video is ‘The Power of Social Proof’ which runs a little over 12 minutes. Here Lee discusses the power of testimonials and how he went about collecting testimonials for Auction Profits Unleashed. The video after this is ‘Your Sales Person in Action’, an 11 minute video in which Lee gives his advice on how to construct your sales page. The fifth video is ‘Use a Launch Pad for Blast Off!’ which runs for 14 minutes. Here Lee explains how he successfully pre-launched Auction Profits Unleashed and created lots of interest. In the next 12 minute video, ‘Earn Money and Build and Asset’, Lee explains how to use your product launch to build a list. The seventh video is ‘Leverage your Success’, a 14 minute video which goes into detail on how to secure joint ventures for your product and how he did this for Auction Profits Unleashed. The video after this is ‘Overdeliver and Profit!’ which runs at a shorter 8 minutes. Here Lee explains how you can build a good brand image by overdelivering. The ninth video runs for 10 minutes and is entitled ‘Multiply your Efforts by 100!’. In this video Lee covers how to build an army of affiliates your product and how he did this for Auction Profits Unleashed. In the final video, ‘Carry on Building’ Lee discusses why you should not stop after one product but keep building your business. Overall, I really liked these videos. Lee offers a complete guide to creating your own products and making money online but most importantly he shows you how he did it with Auction Profits Unleashed. This is really important because it gives you a real life example that you can follow but it also shows you his ideas work. Plus, Lee also offers additional free videos for subscribers to Standing Start Profits each month. At the time of writing this review, the additional videos included; ‘JVs under the Spotlight’, ‘The Power of the Free WSO’ and ‘Newsletter Marketing 101′. This is an excellent section. Lee has really overdelivered and the videos alone are worth more than the price of membership.

The third section is “Special Offers”. The offers range from discounts on certain products to free bonuses when you purchase the products. For example, in this section Lee offer’s James Penn’s short report profits with a $10 discount and a free ebook. If you’re looking to get these products with some added value then this is the place to go.

The next section is “Lee McIntyre Recommended” where Lee recommends certain products. To be honest although they’re solid recommendations you won’t learn anything new in this section.

The fifth section is “Expert Interviews”. Here Lee offers interviews with the experts in PDF format plus some also come in audio format. The interviews change each month but at the time of writing this review they included; ‘Stephen Wagenheim’, ‘Sam Stephens’, ‘Kevin Riley’, ‘Dr Mani’, ‘Dean Shainin’ and ‘James Penn’. The interviews are insightful and allow you to see how the full time Internet Marketer’s operate. Overall, a good section.

Next up are “Marketing Tools”, “Extra Bonuses MRR”, “Extra Freebies” and “Rebrandable Reports”. In these sections you get a LOT of free ebooks and digital products. Some come with no redistribution, others with resell rights and some have rebranding rights. Again the products change each month but there’s a lot of really good content. One highlight was a $47 dollar ebook that Lee had managed to secure for members absolutely free of charge. Being an eBay ebook seller the products with master resell rights and rebranding rights are of particular interest to me but there’s should be something here to suit everyone’s taste. Overall, this is another excellent section in which Lee has overdelivered once again.

So in conclusion what did I think of Standing Start Profits? It’s an excellent resource for people who want to get started making money on the Internet. The freebies, interviews and videos all more than justify the purchase price individually. The fact that you get it all for such a good price represents amazing value and amazing generosity on Lee’s part. My favourite section is definitely the videos. In these videos, Lee gives you a really good insight into the work behind his highly successful launch of Auction Profits Unleashed and how he ultimately ended up earning over $7000 in 30 days. They’re useful on so many levels. First, you can use the principles behind Lee’s launch and apply them to your own products. Secondly, they show that it is possible for a relatively unknown Internet Marketer (as Lee was before the launch of Auction Profits Unleashed), to earn a significat amount of money online in a short period of time. The other resources are very good and I will definitely be using some of the reports with master resell rights for my own eBay store. However, the videos really seal the deal. As I expected Lee has over delivered again and created yet another amazing product in Standing Start Profits.

GOOD POINTS

  • The videos really do have everything. Advice that can be applied to your own products, real life examples, proof that they work and more.
  • The interviews are a really good read and offer an insight into the life of full time Internet Marketers.
  • The free ebooks are a nice addition and useful to me as an eBay ebook seller.

BAD POINTS

  • The Standing Start Profits forum is relatively quiet compared with the Warrior Forum.
  • The special offers weren’t very useful to me.

HOW I HAVE GAINED FROM STANDING START PROFITS
The direct benefit of becoming a member of Standing Start Profits is the free ebooks with master resell rights. I can now add them to my eBay ebook store. The videos have also given me a lot to think about before I launch my new product. I feel they will really help my next product be a huge success.

Auction Profits Unleashed Review

Auction Profits Unleashed!!

EBOOK DETAILS
File Size: 812kb Zipped, 859kb Unzipped.
Number of Pages: 64
Format: Adobe Acrobat (.pdf)
Subject: A guide to using eBay to generate leads for digital products.
Other Information: You can download a free leaked chapter from Auction Profits Unleashed by Clicking Here.

ABOUT LEE MCINTYRE (AUTHOR OF THE AUCTION PROFITS UNLEASHED)
Lee McIntyre is a teacher who has already successfully sold digital products online in the teaching niche. Although Lee has only been trading online since 2006 he is a true success, selling 600+ copies of his first Internet Marketing ebook, Auction Profits Unleashed, during pre-launch alone.

ABOUT AUCTION PROFITS UNLEASHED
Auction Profits Unleashed explains how Lee McIntyre uses eBay to generate leads for digital products and squeezes every last drop of value from the site. Best of all, Lee explains how to automate the whole process. The topics covered include:

  • Why eBay is an Internet Marketer’s Best Friend!!
  • Finding an Online Market to Serve!!
  • Creating a ‘Premium’ Digital Product!!
  • Setting up a Sales Page for your Product!!
  • Getting an eBay Account and Getting some Feedback!!
  • Using eBay to Generate Leads!!
  • Preparing your Auto-Responder to Follow Up with Leads!!
  • Choosing a Delivery Method for your Digital Product!!
  • Developing your Marketing Funnel Further!!

Lee begins the ebook by explaining what a typical day as a school teacher involves for him. This is usually a 7.30am - 6pm shift at the school, plus one hours marking, four times a week. He does this simply to explain that if someone like him can find the time to make money online - then other people can too.

After this he moves on to explain ‘Why eBay is an Internet Marketer’s Best Friend’. As you probably already know eBay is one of the top ten ‘most visited’ websites on the Internet. Furthermore, visitors to eBay are ready buyers although the critics argue that these buyers are penny pinchers and bargain hunters. What may surprise you is that Lee agrees with these critics BUT thinks it makes eBay an even more attractive place to market your products. He believes that this bargain hunter mentality can actually be used to improve your sales. Lee then sums up his thoughts with a story about his Grandma (and her bargain hunting tendencies) and how his Grandma may actually spend more money whilst trying to get a bargain. Overall, I liked this chapter and I found it was a really good answer to the critics who say the digital product market on eBay is dead. I particularly liked Lee’s example which involved his Grandma and found it a good conclusion to the chapter.

In the next chapter Lee moves on to discuss ‘Finding an Online Market to Serve’. He begins by stating that although there is a lot of money to be earnt on eBay by selling your products, there is even more money to be earnt if you follow up with your customers and sell them a premium digital product. Following this, Lee goes on to discuss how to research the potential demand for a digital product, using the niches of weight loss, credit repair and classroom management (a niche which Lee has already had success in). He then goes further and shows readers how to assess the potential for a digital product in a specific niche with multiple tools including; Overture, eBay, ClickBank and Google. This chapter does contain some good information. I found the section where Lee explains the difference between determining demand in a market and demand for a digital product in a market very insightful and helpful. However, I believe Lee could have been a bit more concise in explaining his ideas in this chapter.

In the fourth chapter Lee moves on to cover everyone’s favourite topic; ‘Creating a Premium Digital Product’. He begins by explaining the different kinds of digital products that you can potentially create and then states which type of digital product is his favourite. Next, Lee covers the three basic options available to you if you want to create a digital product (which unfortunately I can’t list for you here). For each of the three options Lee explains the pros, the cons and makes suggestions as to how he would go about creating a digital product using that method. He also states how he thinks each option should be best utilised. With a topic as popular as digital product creation there are always going to be other texts out there which cover the topic in more detail. However, in this chapter Lee has a good stab at it, providing some very useful advice for those creating their first digital product and he covers all the required bases. Overall, this chapter provides an excellent, concise and informative summary of a potentially tricky subject.

Following this Lee moves on to cover ‘Setting up a Sales Page for your Product.’ When I read this chapter it reminded me a lot of my own experiences when creating my first sales page. The first very valid point that Lee makes in this chapter is to NOT do everything on the cheap. Based on my own experiences I really agree with what Lee says here because if you do everything on the cheap then you and your products look cheap. Next he moves on to cover the actual writing of your sales letter. Lee provides readers with a basic ten point template of what a sales letter should include and then provides some more general writing tips to readers. He then finished the chapter with some tips on formatting your sales letter. Overall, I felt this chapter wasn’t as strong as the others within Auction Profits Unleashed. The ten point plan is a good template to follow when writing your sales letter, but a lot of the information is quite subjective and I didn’t learn anything significant after reading it.

In chapter six ‘Getting an eBay Account and Getting some Feedback’ is covered. This is a rather short chapter and to anyone who has been using eBay for some time it will contain little new information. There are some basic feedback management tips included but nothing I didn’t already know.

After this Lee moves on to describe how eBay can be used to generate leads. I can’t reveal the actual method he uses here because it would reveal all the secrets behind Lee’s ebook, and that is not what I intend to do with these reviews. However, I can reveal that it is a very valid method for generating leads and one that I use myself. Overall, this is a really crucial chapter and contains some great information which I would recommend everyone should act upon. I’ve lost count of the times I have heard the phrase “The money is in the List” but the frequency that this phrase is used only goes to show that generating leads is key to your success online.

Once you have your leads on the list you then need to follow up with them and that is exactly what Auction Profits Unleashed covers in the next chapter. First, Lee covers the two autoresponder options available to you; a Self Hosted Solution or a Third Party Solution. He explains which is his favourite and why. Next he goes on to finish the chapter by covering how he would approach follow up communication with customers. Again I found Lee makes some good points in this chapter but it’s a very subjective topic for which everyone has their own opinion. Overall, this section does act as a good guide (which can be modified according to personal preference) for people looking to start their first mailing list and autoresponder series.

Following on from this Lee goes on to discuss ‘Choosing a Delivery Method for your Digital Product’. I personally use My Digital Dispatch for my digital delivery but Lee covers both E-Junkie and DLGuard in this chapter. Since I haven’t got any experience with these two products I can’t comment on how good they are. However, Lee does go into great detail explaining both systems and even includes screenshots. Although I haven’t used these two products, I do know that when selling online it is important to automate as many tasks as you can - including product delivery. In this chapter Lee explains how to automate product delivery in great detail and so overall it is a very useful chapter, containing great information, which can be easily followed and implemented.

In the final chapter Lee covers ‘Developing your Marketing Funnel Further’. In this section he suggests additional ideas to profit from the leads you have acquired from eBay. This section contains some useful tips which will allow you to generate additional revenue from your list and it is a nice conclusion to Auction Profits Unleashed. The information in this chapter isn’t groundbreaking but it is practical and easy to implement.

In conclusion, Lee has done a very good job with Auction Profits Unleashed. If you are selling on eBay and using the site only as a selling platform, then you are missing out on a lot of additional revenue. Using Lee’s ideas you can maintain your eBay sales whilst generating additional sales further down the line. The writing style is really easy to follow and the use of screenshots to explain Lee’s ideas is a great assistance too. Best of all, once set up most of Lee’s ideas run on autopilot. As an eBay seller myself Auction Profits Unleashed comes highly recommended and I give it my own personal seal of approval.

GOOD POINTS

  • The detailed step-by-step instructions with screenshots really help. You can implement the information as you read.
  • I really found myself relating to a lot of Lee’s examples which allowed me to really connect with the information in Auction Profits Unleashed.
  • The level of success Lee has achieved in such a short time online goes to show just how effective his ideas are.
  • I was particularly impressed with the way Lee broke down the topic of creating your own digital product. It can be a hard topic to cover but Lee has made it really easy to understand.

BAD POINTS

  • I feel Lee could have been a bit more concise when covering certain topics.
  • Some of the material covered (such as writing a sales letter) is quite subjective. I got the impression that it was Lee’s own opinion rather than what is actually proven to work.
  • I found the section on getting started on eBay and getting some feedback very basic and didn’t learn anything new.

HOW I HAVE GAINED FROM AUCTION PROFITS UNLEASHED
I already sell my own premium product at http://www.theebookcavern.co.uk/ so I implement lots of the ideas Lee covers already. One thing I plan to act upon is the information in Lee’s final chapter ‘Developing your Marketing Funnel Further’. I feel it’s one area that I am not taking full advantage of currently.

The Definitive Guide to Google Adwords Review

The Definitive Guide to Google Adwords!!

EBOOK DETAILS
File Size: 6.38mb Zipped, 9.86mb Unzipped.
Number of Pages: 205
Format: Adobe Acrobat (.pdf)
Subject: A guide to getting started with and profiting from Google Adwords.
Other Information: Comes with multiple free bonuses including a crash course, a quick start guide and a transcript on how to profit with Google Adwords.

ABOUT PERRY MARSHALL (AUTHOR OF THE DEFINITIVE GUIDE TO GOOGLE ADWORDS)
Perry Marshall is a direct marketing expert. Perry is a published author, sells a number of products offering marketing advice and also offers a marketing and publicity service for a number of companies.

ABOUT THE DEFINITIVE GUIDE TO GOOGLE ADWORDS
Before I begin this review I want to let you know my experience with pay per click (PPC) advertising. I had tried PPC once before reading The Definitive Guide to Google Adwords, based on a recommendation in The Rich Jerk’s ebook. However, The Rich Jerk does not cover PPC in a great level of detail and as a result I didn’t really have a clue what I was doing. I simply deposited the money in the PPC account, entered all the keywords related to my website that I could think of from the top of my head, created an advert and ran the campaign. Although, I noticed increased traffic and increased Google Adsense earnings - I was losing money, I wasn’t tracking my PPC traffic and I didn’t know how to improve adverts or keywords. As you can see although I had experience of PPC before reading Perry’s guide, I didn’t know what I was doing and I would definitely consider myself an Adwords beginner.

In Perry’s words, The Definitive Guide to Google Adwords teaches you ‘How to Beat the Learning Curve and Generate Instant Web Traffic with the World’s Fastest Direct Marketing Machine’. In my own opinion, it is an extremely comprehensive guide to Google Adwords (weighing in at over 200 pages) which takes you from getting started with Adwords right through to mastering the Adwords system. The ebook is split into the seven broad chapters; ‘Getting Started’, ‘Managing the Basics’ and ‘Making your Traffic Pay’, ‘Tools, Tips and Tricks’, ‘Your Questions Answered’, ‘Improving your World’ and ‘Further Help and Services.’ But how well does Perry explain the complex Adwords system?

Perry begins with ‘Getting Started’ which is broken down into the following subsections:

  • Google Adwords & The Art of War: Thill, Addiction, Obsession Fun!!
  • Why Google Adwords is So Important and Why You’re Lost Without It!!
  • Building a Campaign from Scratch: A Step-by-Step Example!!
  • Anatomy of a Real Life PPC Campaign!!
  • Your “Getting Started” Ad Content Checklist!!
  • How to Advertise in Local Markets!!

In this pretty self explanatory first chapter Perry explains how to get your first Adwords campaign up and running. By far my the most useful section of this chapter to me was ‘Building a Campaign from Scratch: A Step-by-Step Example’. For the campaigns I have started this has been my blueprint. Screenshots are included every step of the way and I found it really easy to perform all the necessary research (something I didn’t have a clue about beforehand) and then create my first Adwords adverts. When I want to create a campaign I just get this section on screen and then follow it - it really is as simple as that. I also found the ‘Getting Started Ad Content Checklist’ very useful as a summary to the chapter. My main criticism of this chapter is that Perry recommends certain tools & services that cost a fair amount of money - some of which are pretty much essential to running your Adwords campaign. Having purchased this ebook I wasn’t expecting any additional expenditure apart from my Adwords fees so I was a little disappointed with this. However, in general this chapter does a great job and is responsible for improving my understanding of Adwords and getting my first adverts online.

The next chapter is entitled ‘Managing the Basics’ and covers:

  • Campaigns, Adgroups & Keywords: How to Break Them All Down!!
  • Keyword Status: How Google Rewards You For Relevance!!
  • Andrew Goldman’s “Goldilocks Theory of Good Ad Copy”!!
  • Expanded Phrase Matching & The Power of Negative Keywords!!
  • Turning Solid Traffic from Ultra Generic Keywords!!
  • Google Adwords Cheat Sheet!!

This chapter follows on nicely from ‘Getting Started’ and explains how you can improve the efficiency of your Adwords campaigns. Whereas the main aim of the first chapter is simply to get your Adwords campaign running, ‘Managing the Basics’ shows you how to organise your adverts, keywords etc, so that they are more relevant. How Google rewards you for relevancy is explained in greater detail by Perry, but in simple terms more relevant adverts get better Click Through Rates (CTRs), lower keyword costs and better positions, so it’s definitely in your interests to have relevant adverts. Overall, I found this to be another great chapter. Perry includes lots of sample adgroups as examples to help you learn, and shows you how to improve the relevancy for all of them. I’ve applied these principles to my own Adwords campaigns (which have been running for a month at the time of writing) and I’m pretty happy with the conversion rates. I know that there’s still room for improvement but I’m pleased with the results after one month.

The third chapter is ‘Making Your Traffic Pay’ and discusses:

  • Converting Your Traffic to Sales: The Most Critical Success Ingredient!!
  • Your Most Strategic Number!!
  • Perry Marshall’s Web Traffic Conversion Cheat Sheet!!
  • The Importance of Tracking Conversions and Sales!!
  • Hands On Conversion Tracking: A Real Life Example!!
  • Moving Products Like Hotcakes, But Barely Breaking Even!!
  • Using Google’s Conversion Tracker!!
  • What are Turn-the-Corner Keywords, and Why are They Critical!!
  • Value per Visitor and Affiliates!!
  • Google’s Stricter Affiliate Policy: Why It’s Good News for You!!
  • The Absolute Paramount Importance of Split Testing!!

With this chapter Perry makes a very good point about Adwords - Your traffic is useless unless you can convert it into customers. The most useful part of this chapter for me was the advice on turning content traffic (Google Adsense) on or off for your Adwords campaign as it’s not really something I had considered before. Plus there’s a great tip in there which will help you avoid a bidding war and save quite a lot of money, whilst sacrificing only a little traffic. However, my overall impression of this chapter is that it wasn’t as good as the previous two. Although it is well written, contains plenty of examples and is easy to follow I found that I didn’t learn as much from this chapter. The first two chapters taught me how to set up and manage an Adwords campaign - something I could not do before reading this ebook. With this chapter I already had a general idea of how to write adverts and landing pages that would convert (maybe due to my experience as a seller on eBay), and this chapter affirmed my ideas rather than teaching me any new skills.

Perry then goes on to discuss ‘Tools, Tips & Tricks’. This section covers the following topics:

  • Google Image Ads: Taking Advantage of Another Great Medium!!
  • Site-Targeted Adsense!!
  • Tweaking your Account with Google’s Bells and Whistles!!
  • Cool Tips & Tricks for Generating New Keywords!!
  • The Power of Capitalisation!!
  • How to Test Your Product Idea Before You Develop Your Product!!
  • Special Report: Do Less, Earn More & Live Better!!

This part of the ebook contains a lot of additional information about advertising using Adsense adverts on other people’s websites, rather than through the Google search via Adwords. Like with the other sections of the ebook, Perry explains the material well and includes plenty of examples. However, I’ve not experimented with Adsense as an advertising medium yet, so I can’t comment on how effective it is. Perry also uses this chapter to discuss the other tools Google offers Adwords users and offers a few more tips. Again, although this is a good chapter it just wasn’t as useful to me as the first two.

After this Perry goes on to answer readers questions in the chapter ‘Your Questions Answered’:

  • What to Do When Keywords Cost $5-$10 per Click!!
  • When You’re Up Against Stiff Competition: A Tidy Summary!!
  • FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions!!

This chapter does exactly what it says on the tin - answers customer questions related to Adwords. Obviously, the value of this chapter is unique to the individual and the problems they are having. In his answers Perry conveys a lot of good information, but most of it can be found in other sections of the ebook.

The sixth chapter is ‘Improving Your World’ which includes the following subsections:

  • An Unusual Application of Pay Per Click!!
  • Shade for the Children: Feeding & Clothing Orphans!!

The above are bullet points are two articles by Perry which make up this chapter. Unlike the rest of this ebook these articles are not really instructional but still a good read nonetheless.

In the final chapter Perry goes onto explains sources of ‘Further Help & Services’ which includes:

  • How to Get More Help with Your Campaigns!!
  • More Tools & Resources from Perrry Marshall!!
  • Epilogue: Restroom Confessions of a Millionaire Marketer!!

The beginning of this chapter contains a list of links for extra services from Perry. Then the epilogue teaches you how to build a list of customers and get backend sales. This was useful information and is a very valid strategy, but it was nothing new to me.

In conclusion, I would definitely recommend Perry Marshal’s The Definitive Guide to Google Adwords to anyone who wants to get a foothold in this market. I’m being completely honest when I say I didn’t have a clue about how to use Adwords properly before reading this guide. At the time of writing I’ve run multiple campaigns - some successful, some not - and achieved average click through rates of 1.5% and conversion rates of 20%. There’s room for improvement for sure but I now know what I’m doing. I can use the Adwords program to generate traffic and I can convert this traffic into newsletter subscribers. It is a big increase in spending compared with what I am used to, but that’s the price you pay for instant traffic. My intention when reading this ebook was to learn how to use Google Adwords to generate valuable website traffic and this ebook gets full marks because that is exactly what it has taught me.

GOOD POINTS

  • The detailed step-by-step instructions with screenshots really help. You can implement the information as you read.
  • There’s plenty of examples which again are a great help. If something doesn’t click at first, a different example often aids understanding.
  • The ebook is really well written and easy to read. Perry provides just the right mix of instructional information, real life stories and examples, which makes the ebook really enjoyable to read.
  • It’s great value for money. I’ve paid a similar price for ebooks which are less than fifty pages in length and quite happily done so. However, with over 200 pages in the main ebook plus all the free bonus Perry really has delivered.

BAD POINTS

  • There are additional tools and services which you have to pay for. I wasn’t expecting to have to pay more than my Adwords fees.

HOW I HAVE GAINED FROM THE DEFINITIVE GUIDE TO GOOGLE ADWORDS
As I mentioned earlier in the review I’m getting an average click through rate of 1.5% and converting this traffic at around 20% Not only have I gained new subscribers but I’ve also learnt how to use Adwords - a useful skill that I did not have before reading this ebook.
