ABOUT PERRY MARSHALL (AUTHOR OF THE DEFINITIVE GUIDE TO GOOGLE ADWORDS)
Perry Marshall is a direct marketing expert. Perry is a published author, sells a number of products offering marketing advice and also offers a marketing and publicity service for a number of companies.

ABOUT THE DEFINITIVE GUIDE TO GOOGLE ADWORDS
Before I begin this review I want to let you know my experience with pay per click (PPC) advertising. I had tried PPC once before reading The Definitive Guide to Google Adwords, based on a recommendation in The Rich Jerk’s ebook. However, The Rich Jerk does not cover PPC in a great level of detail and as a result I didn’t really have a clue what I was doing. I simply deposited the money in the PPC account, entered all the keywords related to my website that I could think of from the top of my head, created an advert and ran the campaign. Although, I noticed increased traffic and increased Google Adsense earnings - I was losing money, I wasn’t tracking my PPC traffic and I didn’t know how to improve adverts or keywords. As you can see although I had experience of PPC before reading Perry’s guide, I didn’t know what I was doing and I would definitely consider myself an Adwords beginner.

In Perry’s words, The Definitive Guide to Google Adwords teaches you ‘How to Beat the Learning Curve and Generate Instant Web Traffic with the World’s Fastest Direct Marketing Machine’. In my own opinion, it is an extremely comprehensive guide to Google Adwords (weighing in at over 200 pages) which takes you from getting started with Adwords right through to mastering the Adwords system. The ebook is split into the seven broad chapters; ‘Getting Started’, ‘Managing the Basics’ and ‘Making your Traffic Pay’, ‘Tools, Tips and Tricks’, ‘Your Questions Answered’, ‘Improving your World’ and ‘Further Help and Services.’ But how well does Perry explain the complex Adwords system?

Perry begins with ‘Getting Started’ which is broken down into the following subsections:

  • Google Adwords & The Art of War: Thill, Addiction, Obsession Fun!!
  • Why Google Adwords is So Important and Why You’re Lost Without It!!
  • Building a Campaign from Scratch: A Step-by-Step Example!!
  • Anatomy of a Real Life PPC Campaign!!
  • Your “Getting Started” Ad Content Checklist!!
  • How to Advertise in Local Markets!!

In this pretty self explanatory first chapter Perry explains how to get your first Adwords campaign up and running. By far my the most useful section of this chapter to me was ‘Building a Campaign from Scratch: A Step-by-Step Example’. For the campaigns I have started this has been my blueprint. Screenshots are included every step of the way and I found it really easy to perform all the necessary research (something I didn’t have a clue about beforehand) and then create my first Adwords adverts. When I want to create a campaign I just get this section on screen and then follow it - it really is as simple as that. I also found the ‘Getting Started Ad Content Checklist’ very useful as a summary to the chapter. My main criticism of this chapter is that Perry recommends certain tools & services that cost a fair amount of money - some of which are pretty much essential to running your Adwords campaign. Having purchased this ebook I wasn’t expecting any additional expenditure apart from my Adwords fees so I was a little disappointed with this. However, in general this chapter does a great job and is responsible for improving my understanding of Adwords and getting my first adverts online.

The next chapter is entitled ‘Managing the Basics’ and covers:

  • Campaigns, Adgroups & Keywords: How to Break Them All Down!!
  • Keyword Status: How Google Rewards You For Relevance!!
  • Andrew Goldman’s “Goldilocks Theory of Good Ad Copy”!!
  • Expanded Phrase Matching & The Power of Negative Keywords!!
  • Turning Solid Traffic from Ultra Generic Keywords!!
  • Google Adwords Cheat Sheet!!

This chapter follows on nicely from ‘Getting Started’ and explains how you can improve the efficiency of your Adwords campaigns. Whereas the main aim of the first chapter is simply to get your Adwords campaign running, ‘Managing the Basics’ shows you how to organise your adverts, keywords etc, so that they are more relevant. How Google rewards you for relevancy is explained in greater detail by Perry, but in simple terms more relevant adverts get better Click Through Rates (CTRs), lower keyword costs and better positions, so it’s definitely in your interests to have relevant adverts. Overall, I found this to be another great chapter. Perry includes lots of sample adgroups as examples to help you learn, and shows you how to improve the relevancy for all of them. I’ve applied these principles to my own Adwords campaigns (which have been running for a month at the time of writing) and I’m pretty happy with the conversion rates. I know that there’s still room for improvement but I’m pleased with the results after one month.

The third chapter is ‘Making Your Traffic Pay’ and discusses:

  • Converting Your Traffic to Sales: The Most Critical Success Ingredient!!
  • Your Most Strategic Number!!
  • Perry Marshall’s Web Traffic Conversion Cheat Sheet!!
  • The Importance of Tracking Conversions and Sales!!
  • Hands On Conversion Tracking: A Real Life Example!!
  • Moving Products Like Hotcakes, But Barely Breaking Even!!
  • Using Google’s Conversion Tracker!!
  • What are Turn-the-Corner Keywords, and Why are They Critical!!
  • Value per Visitor and Affiliates!!
  • Google’s Stricter Affiliate Policy: Why It’s Good News for You!!
  • The Absolute Paramount Importance of Split Testing!!

With this chapter Perry makes a very good point about Adwords - Your traffic is useless unless you can convert it into customers. The most useful part of this chapter for me was the advice on turning content traffic (Google Adsense) on or off for your Adwords campaign as it’s not really something I had considered before. Plus there’s a great tip in there which will help you avoid a bidding war and save quite a lot of money, whilst sacrificing only a little traffic. However, my overall impression of this chapter is that it wasn’t as good as the previous two. Although it is well written, contains plenty of examples and is easy to follow I found that I didn’t learn as much from this chapter. The first two chapters taught me how to set up and manage an Adwords campaign - something I could not do before reading this ebook. With this chapter I already had a general idea of how to write adverts and landing pages that would convert (maybe due to my experience as a seller on eBay), and this chapter affirmed my ideas rather than teaching me any new skills.

Perry then goes on to discuss ‘Tools, Tips & Tricks’. This section covers the following topics:

  • Google Image Ads: Taking Advantage of Another Great Medium!!
  • Site-Targeted Adsense!!
  • Tweaking your Account with Google’s Bells and Whistles!!
  • Cool Tips & Tricks for Generating New Keywords!!
  • The Power of Capitalisation!!
  • How to Test Your Product Idea Before You Develop Your Product!!
  • Special Report: Do Less, Earn More & Live Better!!

This part of the ebook contains a lot of additional information about advertising using Adsense adverts on other people’s websites, rather than through the Google search via Adwords. Like with the other sections of the ebook, Perry explains the material well and includes plenty of examples. However, I’ve not experimented with Adsense as an advertising medium yet, so I can’t comment on how effective it is. Perry also uses this chapter to discuss the other tools Google offers Adwords users and offers a few more tips. Again, although this is a good chapter it just wasn’t as useful to me as the first two.

After this Perry goes on to answer readers questions in the chapter ‘Your Questions Answered’:

  • What to Do When Keywords Cost $5-$10 per Click!!
  • When You’re Up Against Stiff Competition: A Tidy Summary!!
  • FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions!!

This chapter does exactly what it says on the tin - answers customer questions related to Adwords. Obviously, the value of this chapter is unique to the individual and the problems they are having. In his answers Perry conveys a lot of good information, but most of it can be found in other sections of the ebook.

The sixth chapter is ‘Improving Your World’ which includes the following subsections:

  • An Unusual Application of Pay Per Click!!
  • Shade for the Children: Feeding & Clothing Orphans!!

The above are bullet points are two articles by Perry which make up this chapter. Unlike the rest of this ebook these articles are not really instructional but still a good read nonetheless.

In the final chapter Perry goes onto explains sources of ‘Further Help & Services’ which includes:

  • How to Get More Help with Your Campaigns!!
  • More Tools & Resources from Perrry Marshall!!
  • Epilogue: Restroom Confessions of a Millionaire Marketer!!

The beginning of this chapter contains a list of links for extra services from Perry. Then the epilogue teaches you how to build a list of customers and get backend sales. This was useful information and is a very valid strategy, but it was nothing new to me.

In conclusion, I would definitely recommend Perry Marshal’s The Definitive Guide to Google Adwords to anyone who wants to get a foothold in this market. I’m being completely honest when I say I didn’t have a clue about how to use Adwords properly before reading this guide. At the time of writing I’ve run multiple campaigns - some successful, some not - and achieved average click through rates of 1.5% and conversion rates of 20%. There’s room for improvement for sure but I now know what I’m doing. I can use the Adwords program to generate traffic and I can convert this traffic into newsletter subscribers. It is a big increase in spending compared with what I am used to, but that’s the price you pay for instant traffic. My intention when reading this ebook was to learn how to use Google Adwords to generate valuable website traffic and this ebook gets full marks because that is exactly what it has taught me.

GOOD POINTS

  • The detailed step-by-step instructions with screenshots really help. You can implement the information as you read.
  • There’s plenty of examples which again are a great help. If something doesn’t click at first, a different example often aids understanding.
  • The ebook is really well written and easy to read. Perry provides just the right mix of instructional information, real life stories and examples, which makes the ebook really enjoyable to read.
  • It’s great value for money. I’ve paid a similar price for ebooks which are less than fifty pages in length and quite happily done so. However, with over 200 pages in the main ebook plus all the free bonus Perry really has delivered.

BAD POINTS

  • There are additional tools and services which you have to pay for. I wasn’t expecting to have to pay more than my Adwords fees.

HOW I HAVE GAINED FROM THE DEFINITIVE GUIDE TO GOOGLE ADWORDS
As I mentioned earlier in the review I’m getting an average click through rate of 1.5% and converting this traffic at around 20% Not only have I gained new subscribers but I’ve also learnt how to use Adwords - a useful skill that I did not have before reading this ebook.

Easy Profit Auctions!!

WEBSITE DETAILS
Subject: A collection of resources to help you succeed with digital products on eBay by creating multiple streams of income.

ABOUT ALEX JEFFREYS (CREATOR OF EASY PROFIT AUCTIONS)
Alex Jeffreys got started selling information products online by reading Jim Cockrum’s ebook The Silent Sales Machine Hiding on eBay. At 23 he quit his full time job to become a full time Internet Marketer. Alex has also created a number of his own digital products.

ABOUT THE EASY PROFIT AUCTIONS WEBSITE
The Easy Profit Auctions system provides you with a number of resources to help you use eBay as a platform to create multiple streams of income. The website is split into the following sections, each of which I will explain in the paragraphs below:

  • System!!
  • Introduction!!
  • Index!!
  • Ebay!!
  • Videos!!
  • Bonuses!!
  • Tools!!
  • Audios!!
  • Support!!
  • Forum!!

The first section is “System” which funnily enough provides you with an overview of the Easy Profit Auctions system. In this section Alex explains ‘Where to Start’, ‘The best way to set up your System’ and ‘What you will achieve once your system is in Place’. He then finishes this section with an article entitled ‘35 Different ways to build a Mailing List’. Overall, this section does contain some useful tips but it is mainly a summary of the rest of the website contents. However, the article ‘35 Different ways to build a Mailing List’ is very informative and contains lots of useful ideas - some of which I already use and others which I plan to implement.

Next is the “Introduction” section. In this section Alex gives readers an insight into his background and how he got started online. He cites Jim Cockrum’s The Silent Sales Machine Hiding on eBay as his main inspiration, a recommendation which I also back. He also explains that just because your business is ‘virtual’, it does not mean you don’t have to put in the time or effort - another statement that I agree with. As this section is just an introduction, there isn’t really any useable information, but Alex does state some home truths about online business which I myself agree with.

In the following section, Alex Jeffrey’s moves on to explain his system in greater detail. First, Alex discusses why sell ebooks. You probably already know by now the benefits of selling ebooks, but if not then they are provided here. After this he discusses just how big the ebook business on eBay is, and provides screenshots to back up his estimates. Again, most people know the ebook business on eBay is huge and this section highlights just how large it really is.

After this Easy Profit Auctions goes on to explain “Why write your own Ebooks?” Alex first answers this question then goes on to explain; Private Label Rights, Viral E-Book Marketing, E-Books without Resell Rights, E-Books with Resell Rights. I found this section particularly informative. I agree with Alex that creating your own products is very important and the key to success online, and in this section Alex covers all the bases of ebook creation in a concise, easy to follow format. In particular Alex provides one great tip for ebook creation which I’ve never considered before. Overall, an excellent section.

Alex then goes on to discuss the tools you will need, breaking them down into sections. He first provides links to the tools you will need and then lists some more recommended tools. After this he explains some of the tools in greater detail. Some of the tools he discusses are Selling Manager Pro, Automated Digital Delivery Software, Pop 3 Email Accounts and your own website. Again this is another excellent section from Alex. He tells eBay ebook sellers why they need each of the tools and how they all work in conjunction to run and automate your eBay ebook business. As a fellow ebook seller I use many of the tools Alex discusses here and find them a must in terms of time and cost savings.

Next Alex discusses keeping track of traffic to your eBay auctions and affiliate marketing. After two extremely informative and detailed section, I found these sections rather basic. The section on keeping track of your traffic tells you how to do so but that’s all. Likewise the section on affiliate marketing explains affiliate marketing in rather basic terms but that’s all. However, to his credit Alex does provide links to two great affiliate marketing resource where you can do further research into the topic if you so wish. Overall, both sections are rather short and basic and don’t contain much information.

After this Alex then goes on to discuss eBay related issues beginning with feedback. In this section Alex details his ‘golden rules’ of feedback and also provides some tips on how to build your feedback quickly. This section is quite detailed and informative. Although some of the information is quite logical, it is useful and the tips on building your feedback quickly are great.

Following this Alex moves on to discuss using HTML (Hyper Text Markup Languge) in your eBay auctions. In this section he makes the very valid point that if you learn the basics of HTML, then you will be able to give your auctions a professional look. Alex then provides a link to a great free HTML training resource. I myself use HTML in all my eBay auctions and agree with Alex that you do need to learn the basics in order to enhance the look of your eBay listings. Overall, Alex makes a good point in this section and provides readers with a great resources to learn HTML.

Next Alex moves on to “Auction Tips” where he explains in great detail how to approach your eBay listing. Alex goes into great detail stating; how to choose a title, how to become a PowerSeller fast, how to create a good sales page and much, much more. I was personally very impressed with this section of Easy Profit Auctions. It is very detailed and Alex pretty much covers all bases concerned with selling ebooks on eBay. In particular, Alex covers the construction of your sales page perfectly, providing tips on both the content and design, as well as telling you how to communicate effectively with your prospective customers. This is definitely one of the best sections of the Easy Profit Auctions website and I rate it as one very fine resource.

Alex then goes on to discuss using both “About Me Pages” and “eBay Shops”. In the section on “About Me” pages Alex discusses how to use your own about me page creatively to generate traffic, and in the section on “eBay Shops” he discusses the benefits of getting your own shop. The creative about me page ideas are good, solid ideas, and I know that they work because I implement them myself. The benefits that Alex lists as factors to get your own eBay shop are also good reasons which should get you thinking about opening your own eBay shop. However, I feel Alex could have gone into greater detail explaining both these topics.

In the next section of Easy Profit Auctions, Alex provides customers with over 20 videos related to selling ebooks on eBay. The topics he covers in these videos include “Leave a feedback trail”, “Brand your Ebooks”, “Automate Ebay 100%”, “Backend Selling on your Thankyou Page” and much more. To be honest I didn’t have chance to watch all the videos but the one I did watch, “Automate Ebay 100%”, was very detailed. In this video Alex dictates step-by-step instructions on how to set up all your eBay emails to be sent automatically and also how to use these emails to generate a little extra traffic. All in all a great video. If any of the other 20+ are half as good to go buy then this is a great resource from Easy Profit Auctions.

After this Alex also provides a collection of audio interviews with big Internet Marketing names including Mike Filsaime and Jason James. These are again valuable resources and I always feel it’s nice to hear other people’s success stories.

The final section of Easy Profit Auctions is “Bonuses” which gives customers access to further free resources. These free resources include; SmartDD (a digital delivery solution), lots of resellable ebooks, free courses and a collection of private label content. Alex also provides access to his tele-conferences in this section. Overall, it looks like a good collection of bonuses with plenty of content made available. I didn’t have a chance to check it all out, but from my initial browse it looks like a great addition to the Easy Profit Auctions site.

On top of all the above sections, Alex Jeffreys also provides Easy Profit Auction customers with a forum. After a quick browse of the forum it looks like a friendly place and a good source of information. It’s a nice addition to the membership site as it allows customers to come together and discuss the ideas they have learnt, ask for help when needed, and integrate with like minded eBay ebook sellers.

In conclusion I found Easy Profit Auctions to be a very good resource for eBay ebook sellers, particularly for the price that Alex is charging. He covers a lot of information in his membership site and provides some great bonuses for customers. My main criticism is that I feel maybe Alex has taken on too much with this membership website which means not all topics are covered with the same level of detail. For example, the “Auction Tips” section contains an incredible amount of details, whereas the “About Me Page” and “eBay Shop” sections are considerably less detailed.

Overall, I would recommend Easy Profit Auctions to eBay ebook sellers who are relatively new to the game. Although there is information here which caters to the more experienced eBay ebook sellers, new sellers will gain more. To illustrate this point further I would say that I am a relatively experienced eBay ebook seller, who has done a good level of research into selling ebooks on eBay. I’ve also put my research into practice over a number of years. Because I have a good working knowledge of eBay, many of the ideas Alex discusses are not new to me. However, if I had come across this information two or three years ago then I would have benefited highly from lots of new ideas. I still did learn some new things but I feel ideas such as; using your about me page creatively, the benefits of having an eBay store, and using HTML in your auctions would benefit new eBay ebook sellers the most.

GOOD POINTS

  • Alex makes a valid point in that you need to be creating your own ebooks, and provides multiple ideas to get you started on this trail.
  • Alex provides a good, comprehensive list of tools that will aid eBay ebook sellers.
  • The HTML resource Alex provides is great for those who need to add some sparkle to their eBay auctions.
  • The “Auction Tips” section is one of the best sources I have read on creating an eBay listing to sell ebooks.
  • Alex provides a multitude of great resources including videos, ebooks, software and courses which are probably worth the price of membership alone.
  • The forum is a nice addition which adds a personal touch to Easy Profit Auctions.

BAD POINTS

  • Some sections are lacking information including the “About Me Pages” and “eBay Shop” sections.
  • Some sections do seem like they have been added as filler content, for example the section on keeping track of traffic to your eBay auctions.
  • For some of the resources you have to provide your email address to gain access.

HOW I HAVE GAINED FROM EASY PROFIT AUCTIONS
As I said in the review, although there is a lot of great information in Easy Profit Auctions, I am already implementing a lot of them. However, I did learn a few things including some valuable ebook creation tips and some list building tips I had never considered before.

Auction Traffic Explosion Review

Auction Traffic Explosion!!

EBOOK DETAILS
File Size: 313kb Zipped, 279kb Unzipped.
Number of Pages: 15
Format: Adobe Acrobat (.pdf)
Subject: A guide to how eBay ebook PowerSeller PlanetSMS uses the viral power of eBay to drive visitors to his website.

ABOUT JOHN THORNHILL (AUTHOR OF AUCTION TRAFFIC EXPLOSION)
John Thornhill (aka eBay PowerSeller PlanetSMS) has been selling information products on eBay for many years and has over 10,000 positive feedback comments. He also runs the successful PlanetSMS Newsletter which provides valuable tips to those selling ebooks on eBay.

ABOUT AUCTION TRAFFIC EXPLOSION
Auction Traffic Explosion explains how John Thornhill (aka eBay PowerSeller PlanetSMS) has used eBay to drive traffic to his websites and build his mailing list. The topics John covers include:

  • Over 30 ways to drive traffic to your Website!!
  • How you can use the tools eBay supplies to legally build your List!!
  • How to legally put your web address into your Auctions!!
  • Why you should be selling info products and the tools you should be using!!
  • How to turn your buyers into sellers that ultimately promote you and ultimately make you Money!!
  • How to turn Auction Visitors into Subscribers!!

John begins his ebook by explaining the Auction Traffic Explosion system in a nutshell. He then follows this up with 10 reasons why info products are the ‘perfect product’ to sell on eBay. This opening chapter does a good job explaining why you should sell information products. Some of the reasons for selling ebooks are quite basic, and are points that you would naturally associate with ebooks. However, four of John’s reasons are very creative ideas and true examples of using eBay in a creative way. This first chapter is a good introduction to Auction Traffic Explosion and a nice introduction to John’s creative way of thinking about eBay.

The next chapter of Auction Traffic Explosion is ‘Build Build Build’ and as you can probably tell in this chapter John explains why you should be building your mailing list. This information is good information, but is nothing new or unique. If you have read other Internet Marketing ebooks you will already know that building your mailing list should be a number one priority. However, John does offer a few quick but basic list building ideas at the end of the chapter for your consideration. Overall, a good chapter but one that is unlikely to teach you something new.

Following this John moves on to explain how to use eBay auctions to generate website visitors. This is a relatively simple process, but one that relatively few ebook sellers no about. John breaks this whole process down into simple, easy to follow, step by step instructions. First, John explains how your visitors can do one of 6 things when they visit your auction and how 5 of these are beneficial to you. Next he explains how to get visitors to your auction with specific examples. John then finishes the chapter by explaining how you can convert these auction visitors into website visitors and/or newsletter subscribers, again with specific examples. Although I already practice the ideas from this chapter, I still found it one of the best in the ebook. The way John has explained his ideas with specific examples means that the chapter is easy to read, and the information is easy to implement.

The next chapter is ‘Ebay Tools that can generate Website Visitors.’ As you can probably guess from the title, in this chapter of Auction Traffic Explosion you are provided with an explanation of eBay tools that will help you achieve your goal of converting auction visitors to website visitors and/or newsletter subscribers. The tools include the eBay store newsletter feature and Selling Manager Pro. Overall, the information in this chapter is OK but nothing you can’t learn by experimenting with eBay a little bit yourself.

Following this John then moves on to explain how you can legally display your web address in eBay auctions. This is quite a good idea but I don’t personally believe it will generate that much traffic to your website. Also I believe a lot of eBayers will be using this method without actually thinking of it as a traffic generation method. Overall, this is one of Auction Traffic Explosion’s weaker chapters.

Next Auction Traffic Explosion explains how you can get visitors to your websites after the sale. John begins this chapter explaining why you should be doing this. He then moves on to explain how to do this with examples of how he does it himself. I found this chapter very similar to the earlier chapter on using eBay auctions to generate website visitors and/or newsletter subscribers. It contains a lot of good information and creative ideas that are explained in a way that’s easy to follow and implement. This is again one of the better chapters contained within Auction Traffic Explosion.

In the final chapter John explains how to turn your customers into sellers, which will in turn generate even more leads for you. John himself generates a large proportion of his income by getting customers to sell his products and then sharing the profits with them. He achieves this using a relatively simple but effective tool which he reveals in this chapter. Although the method of turning your buyers into sellers is a relatively simple one, it is effective. John does only cover it briefly but the profit potential is there. This is definitely an idea I will be using in the future.

Update: May 2007:- John has updated Auction Traffic Explosion, adding a section on using eBay Reviews and Guides and eBay My World to generate extra traffic. I found the section on using eBay Reviews and Guides very useful. Although I myself have written reviews and guides, I’ve never had the level of success John has had with them. I was glad that he shared his top tips for writing a popular guide in this section, because it has shown me how I can get increased exposure for my guides in the future. John also provides a link to his hugely popular ‘Xbox 360 Scam on eBay’ guide which at the time of writing had over 40,000 views. This is a nice addition because you can see John’s ideas working and in action on eBay. Contrastingly, the additional section on eBay MyWorld is good information but is very short. Compared to the eBay Reviews and Guides section it falls short.

Overall, Auction Traffic Explosion is a simple, concise guide to converting auction traffic into website/newsletter traffic. There is absolutely no filler here, just 15 pages of quality information. The majority of the ideas John covers are good, effective ideas. My only real criticism of Auction Traffic Explosion is that I do implement many of the ideas that it contains, but have come nowhere near to John’s 100+ newsletter subscribers per day, but then this could be down to a number of factors. Also, it would benefit beginners if certain areas contained greater detail, but this really is just a minor quibble. However, despite these minor quibbles I would definitely recommend Auction Traffic Explosion to anyone who wants to divert eBay traffic to their website and/or newsletter.

GOOD POINTS

  • The system is very cheap to operate. All it costs is your eBay listing fees.
  • John provides good, real examples so you can see the system in action.
  • The chapter on turning your customers into sellers has the potential to generate significant traffic.
  • When implemented correctly the system is a good source of additional traffic.

BAD POINTS

  • In certain sections the ebook lacks detail which you be an obstacle for beginners.
  • Some of the ideas are not as original or effective as John says.
  • No links to website hosting and mailing list companies are provided.

HOW I HAVE GAINED FROM AUCTION TRAFFIC EXPLOSION
The main thing I have learnt from Auction Traffic Explosion is the huge traffic and profit potential of turning your customers into sellers. Although the majority of John’s other ideas are good, I already implement them. However, the sellers to buyers idea is definitely one that I will be using in the future. Plus I will be looking into improving the popularity of my eBay Reviews and Guides using John’s methods.

Mini Launches Review

Mini Launches!!

EBOOK DETAILS
File Size: 941kb Zipped, 1,133kb Unzipped.
Number of Pages: 37
Format: Adobe Acrobat (.pdf)
Subject: A beginners guide to launching and profiting from what Sara calls ‘mini-launches.’

ABOUT SARA BROWN (AUTHOR OF MINI LAUNCHES)
Sara Brown is one of the UK’s top Internet Marketers. She runs a variety of websites which can all be accessed from http://www.sara-brown.com/choices/. If you want to know more read her About Me page on eBay or subscribe to her newsletter through her websites.

ABOUT MINI LAUNCHES
In Sara Brown’s latest ebooks she explains how to launch and profit from what she calls ‘mini-launches.’ These mini-launches earn Sara a consistent monthly income without fail. The idea for this ebook was originally spawned when Sara placed the following banner ad on a website “Sara Brown wants YOUR help. If you could ask Sara just one thing about her business success what would it be? Email HERE” (the last part was a clickable link to Sara’s email obviously). From here replies Sara discovered that buyers wanted to know how she earns her living on the Internet, with real examples, explained in a way so that anyone can do it. As a result of these queries Sara decided to reveal the secrets behind ‘mini-launches’, one of her many income streams. In her own words Sara says “This is the method I would use to quit my job if I were still at the stage of being a 9-5 employee.” Inside Sara Brown’s Mini Launches she reveals:

  • How mini-launches bring her thousands of dollars a month!!
  • How to set up a mini-launch in a single day!!
  • Why you don’t have to worry about creating your own product!!
  • Where to get products that most people aren’t aware of!!
  • Her secret method of selling products online!!

Sara begins her ebook by explaining how she finds the majority of Internet Marketing sites “as enlightening as shoving your head into a sack of soot.” Sara then goes on to explain that she has a reputation for telling people exactly how she earns her income. Mini Launches are one of her many income streams which she will be explaining to you inside Sara Brown’s Mini Launches.

The next chapter is entitled “How to make Big Profits from Small Cost Items.” She begins the chapter with a screenshot of one of the recent offers she put out. This offer was 250 quality Internet Marketing videos with resell rights for $4 and it brought her a couple of thousand dollars. Sara then explains that this offer didn’t take her very long to put together at all, and then all had to do was mail it to her list. However, she stresses you do not need a mailing list to conduct your very own mini launch. Sara then outlines her first tip for your own mini-launch - keep your costs down and follows this up with a money saving tip. This is the only real content of this chapter, as the rest is mainly just an example of Sara’s video offer mini-launch. Overall, this chapter doesn’t really contain any key information, although it is fairly introductory in its nature. It is interesting to see an example of one of Sara’s mini-launches, but as a subscriber to her newsletter I have already seen this mini-launch and it doesn’t actually teach me anything new. The money saving tip is also nothing new to me and I doubt it will be new to anyone who owns their own website.

Next Sara moves on to describe “Finding a Product.” She describes the multiple ways you can go about finding a product, and her personal favourite product sourcing method for mini-launches. Sara also provides a very good tip for sourcing cheap products with very little research, one that I have begun to use myself. After explaining how to source your products, she then explains how to choose the right one for your mini-launch. To do this you first have to check that the product matches certain criteria (explained inside Sara Brown’s Mini Launches) and then decide whether it is good enough for your very own mini-launch. Overall, this chapter is a very good way of obtaining products quickly and cheaply that you can sell on for a profit. However, I personally prefer to spend a little more time and/or money creating my own, unique product. I will probably use this method in the future but focus the majority of my efforts on getting my own products out there.

The next section covers “Repackaging your Product.” This includes information such as how to find/create product licenses and how to create your sales page. Sara explains how she created sales pages for 3 of her mini-launches and how to create a PayPal button to accept payments. Finally, she covers pricing your product in her own unique way. Overall, I found the information on product licenses quite informative. However, the section on creating your sales page and accepting payments online is a little basic and would probably not be suitable for newbies. Sara simply states that if you don’t know how to create or edit a sales page template then do some research. I feel a little extra information in this section would have been nice. However, the pricing structure Sara suggests is simple and logical, although many Internet Marketing experts are unlikely to agree.

Sara Brown’s Mini Launches then moves on to describe “Distribution - Where do I find people to buy my product?” Sara begins the section by explaining how to build your mailing list. She then covers what to do to get traffic if you don’t have a mailing list. Her methods include using eBay (but in a unique, creative way) and using forums. I personally know of, and use the promotional methods that Sara mentions, but it is unlikely that newbies will know of them. In particular, the eBay promotional technique will be particularly helpful to newbies. However, I feel that there are a lot more promotional methods Sara could have included in this section, including article marketing and your eBay About Me page, to name just a few. The section on list building is simple but informative, although I feel Sara could have included a few extra list building methods too.

Sara then wraps up her ebook with a flowchart. This flowchart serves as a good guide when conducting your own mini-launch and summarises all the points in nice, concise manner. Overall, Sara Brown’s Mini Launches will definitely be most useful to those who do have a list. Although Sara states that you don’t need a list to implement the ideas in Sara Brown’s Mini Launches, having one makes it a lot easier and will also allow you to see returns on your mini-launch a lot quicker. Sara Brown’s Mini Launches is also most useful for those who do not yet have their own product as it provides a quick, easy and low-cost way to acquire and sell a product for profit. Those with a product are likely to make more money promoting their own product. If you don’t have a product or list and are relatively inexperienced selling online I would recommend Sara Brown’s Mini Launches to you as it offers a relatively simple, low cost system, that does have the potential to make you money. However, more experienced Internet Marketers will probably be able to make more money using other methods.

GOOD POINTS

  • Generally the information would be very useful for beginners.
  • A good way for people without a product and/or list to make money online.
  • The section on sourcing low price products quickly is a great idea which I will be implementing.
  • The flowchart at the end of the ebook summarises the entire ‘mini-launch’ process very effectively.

BAD POINTS

  • Despite what Sara says, the ideas are much easier to implement and profit from if you already have a list.
  • Although Sara makes a lot of good points, you feel she could expand on them further.
  • The sections on promotion and web design are very limited.

HOW I HAVE GAINED FROM MINI LAUNCHES
At present I haven’t conducted my own mini-launch. However, I do plan to use some of Sara’s ideas to do my own mini-launch with a few changes. The main difference is that I will be spending more than Sara recommends to get my own unique product, hopefully resulting in increased profits.

The PowerSeller Project Review

The PowerSeller Project!!

EBOOK DETAILS
File Size: 3,006kb Zipped, 3,560kb Unzipped.
Number of Pages: 1 long scrolling page.
Format: Executable (.exe)
Subject: The PowerSeller Project details step-by-step how Sara goes about launching a new product.

ABOUT SARA BROWN (AUTHOR OF THE POWERSELLER PROJECT)
Sara Brown is one of the UK’s top Internet Marketers. She runs a variety of websites which can all be accessed from http://www.sara-brown.com/choices/. If you want to know more read her About Me page on eBay or subscribe to her newsletter through her websites.

ABOUT THE POWERSELLER PROJECT
As a long time follower of Sara Brown’s work I was intrigued by “The PowerSeller Project” which tells you how Sara goes about launching a product. Inside Sara discusses:

  • How she made £2000 in 24 hours without even advertising a product on eBay!!
  • How she earned £1000 from an ebook that someone else had written!!
  • How she made thousands by offering a product for free!!
  • How to make money through ‘Internet Copycatting’ which is perfectly legal if done right!!
  • Why having a simple website matters - even if you sell only on eBay!!
  • Her two biggest blunders and how you can avoid them!!
  • How to stop people stealing from your website!!
  • The ‘Kiss of Death’ on eBay!!
  • How she knows a project will make money before she even starts to sell it!!

The ebook begins like many other Sara Brown publications, with Sara explaining how she believes that jobs are effectively a form of slavery. She believes that you don’t need to work 40 hours a week in a job to earn a living, it’s simply a process that we have been conditioned to believe in from a very early age. Although Sara does make some good points, I think her views will not be shared by everyone. Certainly those who enjoy their job will be unlikely to agree, but those who are not enjoying their jobs will probably be nodding their heads in agreement with Sara.

She then moves onto discuss her first publication ‘Wake up and Smell the Coffee.’ This section is insightful and interesting to read. It also highlights a mistake that Sara made with this publication. Although, this section is interesting there is little practical information contained inside. It’s a story to give you inspiration rather than instructions.

Following this Sara moves onto discuss getting ideas for ebooks. Unlike other ebooks that suggest the generic bestsellers (e.g. make money online, gambling systems), Sara has her own unique spin on this. She follows up the advice in this section with multiple examples of how she has created ebooks in this way. The advice provided in this chapter is very useful and a model I follow to create my own ebooks. I can see how it would be useful to many people aswell, and enable them to make a profit.

In the next section Sara describes how to write your auction ad. She includes tips such as; writing a good auction title, what to include in your description and how to stop people copying your auction description. The information in this chapter is quite basic for me, although it may be useful for a beginners.

Next Sara describes how to write your ebook. In this section Sara describes the type of grammar you should be using, the fonts you should use and some other additional writing tips. She also includes some email and forum promotional tips. Again I found that this information was rather basic to me and will probably only really suit the beginner.

After this The PowerSeller Project describes how to protect both your ebook and your sales page. Although the tips in this section will help you protect your ebook and sales page, I do have some criticism. Firstly, the method to protect your sales page does work, but if someone really wants to steal your page they will (although Sara does mention this). Secondly, the method to protect your ebook does also work. However, it does delay the automated delivery process of Sara’s ebooks. I suppose this depends on what you, the ebook seller, rate as more important - automated ebook delivery or ebook security.

Sara then moves on to describe selling your ebook. First, she describes how to get a website set up to sell your own product. She then goes on to explain how she can generate a lot of money during the ‘pre-launch’ of the product and how to build a mailing list effectively. After this Sara moves on to describe selling your product on eBay. Sara covers lots of info here including how to respond to negative feedback you may receive whilst selling your ebook, how to use resell rights to market your ebook, how to write an effective auction title, the amount you should be spending on listing fees, her listing frequency and much more. Overall, I found this chapter quite informative and interesting to read. Sara covers a lot of information here and provides real life examples too. The only criticism I have of this chapter is that it isn’t the most structured. However, it provides you with a concise guide to selling a product effectively both on and off eBay.

Following this Sara moves on to explain her test, which allows her to determine whether her product will sell BEFORE it goes on sale. The test consists of four basic questions Sara asks herself about the product. If she can answer yes to one of them, then she will run the product as she is almost certain it will sell. This test is indeed a good method of determining whether your product will sell. After reading it, I realised that I had subconsciously used the criteria that Sara uses before the launch of my own products. Although the test does not guarantee your product will be a success, it is a quick, free and simple method that will allow you to determine to a reasonable degree, whether your product will sell.

In the final section Sara summarises what she has covered in The PowerSeller Project. She briefly explains how she would launch her product and then how she would set up a sales page and eBay listing to maintain sales - neatly summarising all the ideas in the ebook.

Overall, The PowerSeller Project is a good ebook for those who have not yet launched a product online. Inside Sara explains how she would go about launching a product, in a way that you can easily replicate. Although the focus is mainly on eBay it is a good model for beginners to follow when creating and launching their first product. On the critical side, Sara could have gone into more detail in certain areas (e.g. step-by-step instructions on how to set up a website, advice on which autoresponder to use etc). She could also have included a few more promotional methods inside the ebook and maybe included more information on how to sell your product outside of eBay. If you have experience of launching your own product I doubt you will find many new ideas inside The PowerSeller Project, but if you are looking to launch your first product on eBay then this is a good guide for you to follow.

GOOD POINTS

  • The PowerSeller Project is full of examples based on Sara’s past experiences showing you that a successful digital product launch is indeed possible.
  • Sara’s method for generating ebook ideas is very effective and one that I have found myself using.
  • The section on selling your ebook is concise, to the point and easy to follow.
  • Sara’s ‘test’ to determine whether a product will be successful before launch is both unique and effective.

BAD POINTS

  • Some of the ideas inside The PowerSeller Project are rather simplistic and will be common knowledge to those who already sell on eBay.
  • Very few promotional methods are covered inside The PowerSeller Project.
  • The ebook focuses largely on eBay selling and provides considerably less information on selling outside of eBay.
  • The level of detail in some sections of the ebook is low.
  • The delivery system delays your access to the ebook which I found quite annoying.

HOW I HAVE GAINED FROM THE POWERSELLER PROJECT
I read The PowerSeller Project after the release of my first premium ebook “How to set up a Successful, Automated Ebook Business on eBay.” Therefore, I did not directly use the ideas from inside The PowerSeller Project. However, after reading this ebook I recognised that I had used many of Sara’s methods when launching my own product. For example, my thought process for creating “How to set up a Successful, Automated Ebook Business on eBay” is very similar to the one Sara describes inside The PowerSeller Project. Furthermore, Sara’s test criteria to estimate whether the product will be successful before launch, are very similar to the factors I was considering before releasing “How to set up a Successful, Automated Ebook Business on eBay.”

The Part Time Plan Review

The Part Time Plan!!

EBOOK DETAILS
File Size: 2,387kb Zipped, 2,447kb Unzipped.
Number of Pages: 67
Format: Adobe Acrobat (.pdf)
Subject: A guide to gaining massive success on the Internet through a part time effort.

ABOUT JIM COCKRUM (AUTHOR OF THE PART TIME PLAN)
The author Jim Cockrum, is a self confessed eBay freak. He also runs “Creative Ebay Selling,” the Internets largest eBay success newsletter with over 100,000 subscribers and growing by the day. Jim has helped launch multiple Internet businesses and has used the Internet as his sole source of income since 2002.

ABOUT THE PART TIME PLAN
The Part Time Plan is Jim Cockrum’s third Internet Marketing ebook. In The Part Time Plan Jim explains how you can make money on eBay utilising the “obvious strategy” and the “not so obvious strategy.” The “obvious strategy” is just general selling of items on eBay. However, the “not so obvious strategy” involves implementing more creative strategies on eBay to make your money. The topics covered in The Part Time Plan include:

  • Proof of Jim’s Online Income!!
  • Details of the Obvious Strategy!!
  • Details of the Not So Obvious Strategy!!
  • The tools you will need!!
  • Selling information products on eBay!!
  • Automating your eBay Information Business!!
  • Using eBay as a Marketing Tool!!
  • Using Amazon as a Marketing Tool!!

The Part Time Plan begins with Jim providing proof of his online income. If you have been a member of Jim’s “Creative Ebay Selling” newsletter for some time or have previously read one of his ebooks then you probably know most of the information in this chapter. However, if you need proof of Jim’s online credential then this chapter explains them very well. In the chapter Jim shows how he was ranked number one at ClickBank with his ebook The Silent Sales Machine Hiding on eBay, and also the huge amount of traffic generated by his website http://www.silentsalesmachine.com/, using screenshots as proof.
Next Jim moves on to describe the “Obvious Strategy” for making money on eBay. The obvious strategy is not the main strategy Jim wants to teach in The Part Time Plan, but he says it can make you money. According to Jim about 95% of eBay sellers implement the “Obvious Strategy” which is simply selling as many highly profitable items as you can. In this chapter Jim emphasises the importance of finding a niche if you are going to implement this strategy and also includes a very informative article on finding a product to sell on eBay or anywhere else online. He also provides links to his favourite wholesale sources where you can purchase products to sell online. Jim then goes on to provide a very valid criticism of the “obvious strategy” on eBay, and one which many people do not consider. Overall, I found this chapter very informative. If you sell on eBay and are not currently implementing more creative ideas to boost your income then this chapter highlights why you really should be. Jim explains his ideas very well, in a clear, concise fashion, and provides valid reasons as to why you should not limit yourself to this strategy.

Following this Jim goes on to explain the “Not so Obvious Strategy.” In this chapter Jim explains how even if you use the “obvious strategy” that you can generate additional revenues by also implementing more creative ideas. Jim then goes on to explain identifies four types of sellers on eBay. The four seller types are those with; “Low Creativity and Low eBay Abandon”, “High Creativity and Low eBay Abandon”, “Low Creativity and High eBay Abandon” and “High Creativity and High eBay Abandon.” In the Part Time Plan, Jim explains each of the four seller types and the various disadvantages of three of them. He then goes on to explain why the best type of seller to be is one with “High Creativity and High eBay Abandon.” This section further highlights Jim’s view that you should not just limit yourself to the “obvious strategy” on eBay. He outlines all the benefits of being an eBay seller with “High Creativity and High eBay Abandon” including extra free time and not being tied to eBay. Overall, I found this chapter to be another excellent section. Jim explains his “not so obvious strategy” by comparing it to the different types of seller you will find on eBay. By doing this, Jim really manages to highlight the benefits of his “not so obvious strategy” in comparison to those who solely operate “the obvious strategy,” which include additional revenue for very little additional work and not being tied down to eBay.

Jim then moves on to explain how to implement the “not so obvious strategy” by selling information products. Jim begins this chapter by providing a list of products that have helped sellers achieve success using the “not so obvious strategy.” He then goes on to explain why you should sell information products. The benefits include high profit margins, a high degree of automation and much more. Jim then moves on to explain how to get ideas for your own information product and how to test if your ideas will be successful. Next he lists a number of topics which are proven best sellers. Jim then moves on to explain how to sell more physical products (if you do already sell them) using information, and then he moves on to list some backend strategies to generate more sales. Jim then finishes the chapter with the story of his best selling ebook, The Silent Sales Machine Hiding on eBay and how he achieved that success. Overall, this chapter provides a very good summary of how you can create your own information product. Although there are ebooks out there that focus solely on this topic and describe it in more detail, Jim explains how to get ideas for your information product and then how to use this information to be successful. He then summarises with the story of how he did it himself. Although it is not the most detailed information you can get, Jim puts it together in an easy to follow, easy to implement way which is ideal for those who are looking to sell their first information product.

The next chapter focuses on the tools you will need to create and sell your information product. For each of the tool types Jim outlines the following tools: DIY (Do It Yourself which is very cheap or free), DIY with Help (Do It Yourself with a bit of help which costs a bit more) and Full Service (Paying someone else to do the job, which is fast and easy but costs the most). In this chapter Jim outlines tools for the following tasks; Product Creation, PDF Creation, Ebook Cover Creation, Editing, Website Creation, Autoresponder (Email List Management), Accepting payments on eBay, Accepting payments on your own Website, Product Delivery after an eBay sale, Product Delivery from a Website and Customer Support. Overall, I found this chapter quite informative. I was already aware of some of the tools Jim mentioned but others are new to me, meaning that I have benefited in some way from this chapter.

In the final chapter Jim provides you with some tips for selling on eBay. These tips include; how to generate leads, what the best price points for selling your product are and when the best times to end your auctions. I have mixed feelings about this chapter. Some of the tips are excellent but some seem simply common sense.

Jim also includes three bonuses at the end of The Part Time Plan. The first is “Run your entire eBay business without ever logging on” which is a video by Jim explaining how you can do just what the title says. The second bonus is “Use the power of eBay as a marketing tool” where Jim explains two creative ideas to draw visitors from eBay to your website. Both of these bonuses are an excellent addition to the ideas in The Part Time Plan, as when implemented they allow you to save time and generate additional traffic. The third and final bonus is “Using Amazon to generate additional traffic” where Jim explains how you can use Amazon to get additional visitors to your website or eBay store.

Overall, The Part Time Plan is a good ebook for those who are beginners in the Internet Marketing world and have not read any of Jim’s previous ebooks. However, if you have already created your product, or you are an avid follower of Jim and his work, then there is little new information for you here. Most (but not all) of the information in this ebook can be located in Jim’s previous two ebooks The Silent Sales Machine Hiding on eBay and How to turn Auction Traffic into Cash and his “Creative Ebay Selling Newsletter.” As a standalone product, The Part Time Plan is a very informative ebook that details how you can generate extra revenue using information. Jim explains all his ideas very clearly and backs them up with examples of how he has done it. If you are currently selling on eBay and looking for a way to generate extra revenue then The Part Time Plan is a good text to get you started. However, if you have been following Jim Cockrum for some time then you may have already been presented with the majority of the information within The Part Time Plan.

GOOD POINTS

  • Teaches you how to be more creative on eBay to generate additional revenue.
  • Jim’s ideas are explained clearly with relevant examples that beginners and experienced seller’s can both follow.
  • Provides you with simple but effective methods to find an idea for your own information product.
  • Provides a comprehensive list of tools you will need to sell information products on eBay.

BAD POINTS

  • Some of the services Jim recommends require additional expenditure.
  • If you have been following and reading Jim’s work for some time then you will find few new ideas inside The Part Time Plan.
  • There is a little bit too much self promotion of Jim’s other products inside The Part Time Plan.

HOW I HAVE GAINED FROM THE PART TIME PLAN
I didn’t actually learn that much from The Part Time Plan as I have been a long time subscriber to Jim’s newsletter and also have purchased his two previous ebooks The Silent Sales Machine Hiding on eBay and How to turn Auction Traffic into Cash. However, I did come across a number of tools that I was previously unaware of through The Part Time Plan.

Auction Profit Streams Review

Auction Profit Streams!!

EBOOK DETAILS
File Size: 904kb Zipped, 1,003kb Unzipped.
Number of Pages: 53
Format: Adobe Acrobat (.pdf)
Subject: A guide to setting up multiple income streams using eBay.
Other Information: You can download a free leaked chapter from Auction Profits Streams by Clicking Here.

ABOUT JOHN THORNHILL (AUTHOR OF AUCTION PROFIT STREAMS)
John Thornhill (aka eBay PowerSeller PlanetSMS) has been selling information products on eBay for many years and has over 10,000 positive feedback comments. He also runs the successful PlanetSMS Newsletter which provides valuable tips to those selling ebooks on eBay.

ABOUT AUCTION PROFIT STREAMS
Inside Auction Profit Streams, the author John Thornhill explains how to use eBay to create multiple income streams which are almost fully automated. With each of the income streams he outlines, John also provides proof of his earnings for that method. The topics covered inside Auction Profit Streams include:

  • Building a list of Subscribers!!
  • The importance of MULTIPLE streams of income!!
  • Your most valuable asset and how to maintain it!!
  • The Pros and Cons of Resell Rights!!
  • The best subjects for Ebooks!!
  • How to create your very own Ebook!!
  • Selling your Ebook Successfully!!
  • How to make money WITHOUT your own Product!!
  • Profiting from Private Label Content!!
  • Becoming an Expert in your field!!

John begins his ebook by explaining the importance of building a mailing list. Throughout the ebook he also suggests potential ways to build your mailing list. Although he doesn’t go into great detail on how to build your mailing list, the point John makes is very valid. With a mailing list you get a potential customer for life which is one of the most important assets you can have. Overall, Auction Profit Streams does offer enough information for you to get your own mailing list started, although there are better ebooks on the topic. However, since this isn’t the main topic of the ebook I feel it is one that John covers more than adequately considering the subject matter.

In the next chapter John moves on to describe your most valuable asset - your eBay feedback. In this section John describes how to keep your feedback above 99% positive. He outlines methods he uses and provides actual examples. John also explains how to get negative feedback removed if need be. This chapter contains very good information and John’s excellent feedback record proves that not only does he use this information himself, but that it is effective.

After a description of why you should be selling information products, John then moves on to the benefits of selling ebooks with resell rights. These are not the typical benefits you would expect such as being easy to obtain, easy to sell or that they are an easy way to make money. Instead John describes the benefits of creating and selling your own ebook which are much more powerful than those already outlined. It is largely because of this section that I have started putting more of an effort into writing my own ebooks with resell rights. John then finishes the chapter with tips on how to make sure your ebook with resell rights sells well. Overall this is an excellent chapter and a real gem for ebook sellers on eBay.

In the next chapter John attempts to answer the question ‘What should I write about?’ In this section he includes a list of information product best sellers. Although this information is good, it is probably information you have read in multiple ebooks before. Therefore, I felt this chapter wasn’t as strong as the previous chapters in Auction Profit Streams.

Following this John moves on to describe how to create your very own ebook. He begins by explaining how to effectively research your chosen ebook topic. Using the fictional topic of “Dog Training” (a topic which John knows nothing about) he shows step-by-step, the process he would follow to research the topic and includes screenshots. John follows this up by writing about how to devise an effective title, what information you should actually put in your ebook and finally how to compile it. This topic is covered very well within this chapter. Although ebooks such as Ebay Auction Income Streams and The One Month Magnate go into more detail on the topic, that is the only thing they focus on. This is just one of many sections in Auction Profit Streams, and therefore I feel John has done a great job of writing down everything you need to do when creating your own ebook. Not only does he cover the basics of creating your ebook but he also includes some additional ideas, allowing your ebook to make you even more money.

Next Auction Profit Streams moves on to describe how to sell your ebook. First, John covers pricing your ebook. He outlines the approximate prices you should be charging depending on what you are trying to achieve with your ebook. Then John tells you how to create a top selling auction title and auction listing/sales page. The auction design tips include; how to design attractive HTML auctions (with links to the relevant tools you will need), what to include in your listing, what not to include in your listing and which fonts and colours to use. Since I have been selling ebooks on eBay for some time a lot of this information is not new to me. However, this chapter is extremely detailed and full of useful information for those who do not know how to design attractive HTML auctions or who do not have much experience selling ebooks on eBay. Furthermore, John provides lots of useful tools for the beginner who may struggle with auction listing design. Overall, the information in this chapter is very detailed and very useful, just not so applicable to the more advanced ebook seller.

In the next chapter John moves on to describe how to promote your products and/or your brand, both before and after a sale. These promotional methods are all effective and free. Although I knew about some of the promotional methods John outlined already, they are still very useful for the beginner. However, John’s focus on how to maximise the effectiveness of your download page contained a lot of new information for me. Prior to reading this ebook I used to just distribute the download link to customers when a sale was made. However, now I direct customers to a download page as I realise the importance of it in a promotional sense. Overall, I found this section very insightful and I learnt something new from it. The information was very valuable to me, even though I have been selling ebooks on eBay for a number of years.

John then moves on to write in detail about private label content and how he uses it. This chapter is again very detailed and in particular the latter section is my favourite. At the moment I do not use private label content, although after reading this section I am likely to start in the near future. At the end of the chapter John outlines how private label content can be used to generate a monthly recurring income which increases each month, an idea I will definitely be following up. In conclusion I found this chapter to be another insightful one from John and full of ideas which I had not considered before.

Auction Profit Streams finishes with the chapters; ‘How to become an expert in your field’, ‘Tips, Tricks, Methods and Secrets’, ‘More Money Making Ideas’ and a ‘Step by Step Guide to creating an Income Stream.’ These mainly sum up the ideas in the ebook and provide the reader with a few additional tips, although they do conclude the ebook nicely.

Overall, I found Auction Profit Streams to be an extremely informative text. Even as an eBay ebook seller of some years I still found new ideas in the ebook which have helped me. The ebook is also very well laid out, and flows in a way so that you can implement the ideas as you read. Whether you are a beginner or a more experienced eBay ebook seller, I am sure you will find some new ideas inside Auction Profit Streams. My only criticism of the ebook is that in certain areas John suggests getting a website and mailing list, but does not describe where you would go to get these tools. Although this is not a problem which affects me, I could imagine relative beginners not knowing where to search for these. Also, some of the information is repeated in John’s newsletter and previous ebooks, although to his credit John does state this inside Auction Profit Streams. Despite these minor criticisms, I would recommend Auction Profit Streams to anyone selling information products on eBay as a must read.

GOOD POINTS

  • Provides you with ideas to create multiple income streams using eBay.
  • Very good information for eBay ebook sellers who are beginners and some new ideas for the more experienced eBay ebook sellers.
  • The chapter on selling ebooks with resell rights is very informative.
  • The section on the importance of the download page provided me with fresh new ideas.
  • The section on private label content will be very useful to me in the future and was a real eye opener.

BAD POINTS

  • There are some promotional methods that John misses out on e.g. Google Adwords.
  • If you have been subscribed to John’s newsletter for some time and/or purchased some of his products, then some of the information in Auction Profit Streams will be repeated.
  • No links to website hosting and mailing list companies are provided.

HOW I HAVE GAINED FROM AUCTION PROFIT STREAMS
The main thing I gained from Auction Profit Streams is the importance of the download page. Previously, I sent customers a link to the actual file for them to download. However, now I send customers to a download page as not only does it look more professional, but it also provides an excellent promotional opportunity. I have also been educated on the value of private label content, and I am sure I will be taking advantage of it in the near future. Furthermore, I am now putting greater effort into writing my own content, as Auction Profit Streams has really outlined the value of this to me. Overall, I have gained significantly from Auction Profit Streams, particularly compared to other ebooks I have reviewed.

The Worn Paper System Review

Sunday, July 15th, 2007

EBOOK DETAILS
File Size: 2.14mb Zipped, 2.18mb Unzipped.
Number of Pages: 44
Format: Adobe Acrobat (.pdf).
Subject: The Worn Paper System is “the average person’s guide to making money on the Internet.” In this ebook Sara Brown discusses the exact blueprint she uses to put together simple, money making websites, time and time again, project after project.

ABOUT SARA BROWN (AUTHOR OF THE WORN PAPER SYSTEM)
Sara Brown is one of the UK’s top Internet Marketers. She runs a variety of websites which can all be accessed from http://www.sara-brown.com/choices/. If you want to know more read her About Me page on eBay or subscribe to her newsletter through her websites.

ABOUT THE WORN PAPER SYSTEM
As a long time newsletter subscriber and repeat customer of Sara Brown’s I snapped up a copy of The Worn Paper System as soon as it was offered to me. This system was initially a diagram scribbled down onto a worn piece of paper and pinned above Sara’s desk. The diagram itself is a result of Sara’s one year research into how to avoid losses and replicate big successes online. Now for the first time ever she has converted it into ebook form. Not only do you get the actual diagram that Sara has used to set up her various money making websites, but she also breaks it down into step by step, easy to follow instructions. To put it in Sara’s words this is “the average person’s guide to making money on the Internet.”

Inside the Worn Paper System Sara tells you:

  • How to create and sell your own Ebook!!
  • How to sell Affiliate Products!!
  • How to create and sell your own Software!!
  • How to use Blogs to promote the above Products!!
  • How to use Forums to promote the above Products!!
  • How to use Viral Reports and Ebooks to promote the above Products!!
  • How to participate in Joint Ventures to promote the above Products!!
  • How to use Articles to promote the above Products!!
  • How to use eBay’s About Me Page to promote the above Products!!
  • How to build a Mailing List to promote the above Products!!
  • The actual diagram that appeared on that worn piece of paper!!

The Worn Paper System begins with Sara explaining how her friend lost his job. The subsequent money earning advice she gave him is exactly what is outlined in The Worn Paper System. She then goes on to tell you that you will need $100 (approximately £50) to pay for website hosting before you begin but this will be the only cost. Following this the Worn Paper System is divided into three basic chapters; “Getting a domain name and Website”, “What will I be Selling”, and “How to make Money.”

The first chapter “Getting a domain name and Website” is clearly aimed at beginners. If you’re completely unfamiliar with this process then you may need to read this bit, but the majority of readers will be able to skip straight to the next chapter “What will I be Selling.”

Sara begins the next chapter entitled “What will I be Selling” by describing the three products she sells online (ebooks, affiliate products, and software) and then how to go about sourcing/creating each of these.

I found the section on selling ebooks very informative. Sara provides effective ideas on how you could create both an Internet Marketing Ebook and a Non-Internet Marketing Ebook of your own. She also provides information on how you can make quite a profit from resellable ebooks in ways that don’t initially spring to mind.

The section on selling affiliate products is not quite as good because it contains a lot of filler such as screenshots of Sara’s affiliate earnings. It does do quite a good job at explaining ClickBank terms such as “Gravity” but overall I didn’t really learn anything new in this section. If you have no idea at all what affiliate programs are and how they work then this section may prove useful but otherwise. Otherwise you will probably be able to skip right past it.

The third section on creating your own software is very good. I found it particularly informative as it explains how you can get your own software created without being a programmer. All you need is the idea. This section is short but to the point and creating my own software using Sara’s methods is an idea I will be looking into in the future.

Following the above three sections Sara moves onto the next chapter “How to make Money.” The chapter on “What will I be Selling” explained how to source/create the products. Now you have the products, “How to make Money” explains how to promote and make money from these products via blogs, forums, viral ebooks, joint ventures, articles, eBay About Me pages, and mailing lists.

Sara begins with blogs and explains how you can use these free tools to sell the above products. The methods Sara explains in this section are simply but effective, and methods that I implement myself as an affiliate. Sara explains how to get your blog set up, what you need to include in it, and how long it will take to set up. Overall, I found this section very good and have myself implemented many of the blogging methods detailed by Sara.

In the next section Sara discusses how to use forums to promote products. I found this section rather short, and the information rather basic. I think most people will already know of the methods identified in this section but it may be useful to the beginner.

Next Sara discusses viral reports and ebooks. This information in this section is quite good and can be used to effectively promote your products. However, like with the section on forums this information is almost common knowledge and therefore is only likely to be useful to beginners.

Following this Sara moves on to discuss using joint ventures to promote the products. I found this section very good because it explains how you can generate a lot of extra sales with very little effort. Sara explains how you can go about arranging your first joint venture. Even if you are a relative beginner and you are just releasing your first product, a successful joint venture with a “guru” can send your sales through the roof in a matter of days.

Articles are the next promotional tool discussed in this chapter. Sara explains how you can submit free articles to the article directories, and use these to promote products. Although articles can be a very effective long-term promotional tool, like with some of the above promotional methods, you are likely to have heard of the methods Sara discusses before. Therefore, this information is likely to be only useful to beginners.

Next Sara moves onto eBay About Me pages. In this section Sara discusses a quite underutilised but effective method for promoting products. It is likely that you have never thought of or been aware of this method. However, when used properly your eBay About Me page can be a great source of extra sales and a great promotional tool. Overall, this section is excellent and contains excellent ideas that can be utilised by anyone who has an eBay account.

In the final section of the chapter Sara moves onto discuss building a mailing list. If you sell online and don’t yet build a mailing list, then you need to start doing so. It is in mine and Sara’s opinion the single most important aspect of Internet Marketing. In this chapter Sara explains; why you need a list, how to build a mailing list effectively, and how to make money from your list. This chapter was one of the best, if not the best in the ebook. If you follow the instructions in this section you should have a mailing list up and running in a matter of days and be making money from the list soon after.

Following the end of chapter three Sara wraps up the ebook with a full page display of her “Worn Paper” diagram. This diagram provides a nice finish to the ebook as it brings all the ideas in the “Worn Paper System” together on one page in an easy to follow flowchart.

Overall, I found that The Worn Paper System contained some good ideas for selling your own products and selling as an affiliate. In particular the sections on selling ebooks, building a mailing list, and using your eBay About Me page effectively all contain excellent information. The ebook itself also provides a great guide on how to start from scratch and set up a steady number of income streams online. The ebook is also laid out very logically meaning that it’s easy to follow and the methods inside can be implemented as you read. The main criticism I have of the ebook is that it is aimed at beginners. Someone who has been practicing Internet Marketing for some time is likely to already know about many of the methods discussed in this ebook. I was fully aware of article marketing, affiliate marketing, building a mailing list, and viral ebooks before I read this ebook. Although I did learn something new about blogging the majority of information was not new to me. Therefore, I would only recommend The Worn Paper System if you are a beginner in Internet Marketing. If you’re a budding Internet Marketer looking where to start then The Worn Paper System provides you with a comprehensive, easy to follow plan, to get your first few income streams up and running. However, if you already know about blogging, article marketing, viral reports and any of the other above topics then you are probably best giving The Worn Paper System a miss.

GOOD POINTS

  • The section on ebooks is very informative and gets the creative juices flowing.
  • The method of getting your own software is one of my favourites in The Worn Paper System. It’s very simple but very effective.
  • The section on blogging is quite informative and was what actually led to me creating my own blogs.
  • All the promotional methods discussed are free so won’t cost you a penny.
  • The ebook is very well laid out and flows in a logical manner meaning it is easy to follow. You can implement the ideas as you read.
  • The “Worn Paper” diagram at the end summarises the ebook very well. It could be used as a useful checklist when launching new websites, internet marketing campaigns etc.

BAD POINTS

  • The section on affiliate marketing contains little useful information. It is little more than a glorified guide to ClickBank terms.
  • There is quite a lot of filler (e.g. earnings screenshots) which I find unnecessary.
  • Although they are effective, you are likely to already know about many of the promotional methods Sara mentions.

HOW I HAVE GAINED FROM THE WORN PAPER SYSTEM
As I have said throughout this interview the majority of this information is common knowledge to me. I already know a good amount about article marketing, affiliate marketing, viral reports etc. However, reading the blogging section of The Worn Paper System did lead me to setting up my own blogs, an idea which I had overlooked in the past. Sara’s method of creating your own software is also one I may be taking advantage of in the future.

My Digital Dispatch!!

EBOOK DETAILS

Format: MySQL Database.
Subject: My Digital Dispatch is a program you install on your website which can auto-deliver digital products which you sell via PayPal. It works both on eBay and outside of eBay i.e. on a website.

ABOUT SOCRATES SOCRATOUS (CREATOR OF MY DIGITAL DISPATCH)
Socrates Socratous is a successful Internet Marketer and the creator of My Digital Dispatch. He also runs his own newsletter and a blog located at http://socratesblog.com/ where he provides regular tips for ebook sellers on eBay.

ABOUT MY DIGITAL DISPATCH
After trying various solutions for auto-delivering ebooks on eBay I found My Digital Dispatch. It is by far the best solution I have come across as it is both flexible, easy to use, and can be purchased with just one payment.

My Digital Dispatch has the following features:

  • Ebooks are delivered Instantly as soon as your customer makes the Payment!!
  • You can add unlimited Ebooks to My Digital Dispatch!!
  • You can have unlimited Email Messages sent with the Products!!
  • Each message can be customised through Personalisation Variables!!
  • You can harvest Customer Information!!
  • My Digital Dispatch keeps a transaction log!!
  • My Digital Dispatch works 24/7 even with the computer turned off!!
  • My Digital Dispatch adjusts to any PayPal supported currency!!
  • My Digital Dispatch checks the price and currency to avoid fraudulent transactions!!
  • There is no need to update item numbers when selling on eBay!!
  • You can easily create unlimited different titles to sell the same item on eBay!!
  • My Digital dispatch works with both eBay Auctions and eBay Buy It Now Listings!!
  • Much, much more!!
  • NEW FEATURE AS OF JULY 2006: My Digital Dispatch can cloak download links so that customers cannot find the actual location of your product!!
  • NEW FEATURE AS OF JULY 2006: My Digital Dispatch can timeout downloads based on time (e.g. download links are active for 24 hours) or number of downloads (e.g. downloads links become inactive after three downloads)!!
  • NEW FEATURE AS OF JULY 2006: My Digital Dispatch will resend a download link to the customer at the click of a button!!
  • NEW FEATURE AS OF JULY 2006: My Digital Dispatch now allows currency checker to be turned off, or multiple currencies to be accepted!!
  • NEW FEATURE AS OF JULY 2006: My Digital Dispatch now allows you to backup and / or restore your current database at the click of a button!!

My Digital Dispatch is basically a huge database script which you install on your website. Once installed you then add products (ebooks, software etc) to the Inventory. Then once you have done this you create Items for Sale (the title, price etc of the item you will be selling). This Items for Sale feature is very useful for eBay sellers because you can have lots of different titles for selling the same ebook on eBay. For example you could use both “The 90 Day PowerSeller Challenge Ebook - Can you do it?” or “Become a PowerSeller in 90 Days? Are you up to the challenge?” when selling the 90 Day PowerSeller Challenge Ebook. After you have done this you can then create custom Success and Failure Messages for your products. Success Messages are sent to deliver the product when the correct payment is made by the customer e.g. “Thankyou for purchasing <Item>. It can be downloaded from <Download Link>.” Failure Messages are sent when delivery fails, usually because the customer has paid the incorrect amount or in an incorrect currency e.g. “Sorry but the delivery has failed. This could be for a number of reasons. Please get in touch with us to rectify the problem.” You can either create a custom Success and Failure Message for each individual product, or use the same custom Success and Failure Message for all products. Finally you can create custom Email Signatures. Again you can either use a different Email Signature for all products or list the same Email Signature. Once you have done this for each product they should be all ready to be auto-delivered.

Now as I said earlier My Digital Dispatch is the best solution I have found for auto-delivering ebooks on eBay. Before I go on to list the good points of My Digital Dispatch, I will first outline the other delivery systems I have used, so that I can better highlight why My Digital Dispatch is superior. Prior to My Digital Dispatch I used two other methods for auto-delivering my ebooks; Outlook Express and Payloadz.

Now using Outlook Express to auto-deliver ebooks is an OK solution when you are starting out. However, as your ebook business grows you will soon find that this method is not the best solution. For starters, the more sales you make, the longer your email program will have to spend sending emails, using up your bandwidth. Secondly, and more importantly this is not true auto-delivery because it only works when your computer is on and Outlook Express is open. Therefore, if you don’t go on your computer for a few days or take a holiday all your ebook orders will be piling up, and will not be delivered till you go on your computer next. As you can see this will become quite a problem as paying customers will not be happy about waiting (even just for a few days) for the ebook to be delivered, when your competitors are delivering them instantly.

The next solution I tried was Payloadz (http://www.payloadz.com). Unlike using Outlook Express, Payloadz is a good solution for auto-delivering ebooks. With Payloadz you upload your products to their servers and then you are given a ten digit code to insert within your eBay auction title (the code is similar to PL012345678). When a customer buys your product on eBay they are then sent an encrypted download link via Payloadz which you can also set to expire if you like. In exchange for the service Payloadz charge you a monthly fee which is based on how much you sell. There are a few reasons I don’t find Payloadz as good as My Digital Dispatch. First, you have to insert a ten digit code into your auction title meaning that you now have ten less digits to describe your item with. Using My Digital Dispatch you can use the full fifty five digit auction title. Secondly, Payloadz restricts you to using Buy It Now and requiring Immediate Payment from buyers, which in turn restricts you to only accepting payment from buyers in your country. My Digital Dispatch also works on Auction listings and does not require Immediate Payment, which means you can accept payment from buyers in any country. Finally, Payloadz is a monthly subscription service and is therefore a recurring expense. My Digital Dispatch is yours to use forever after the one off payment. This saves you money in the long term.

Overall, My Digital Dispatch is in my opinion the best option out there for auto-delivering ebooks on eBay. Hopefully, the comparisons with the other services above, highlight My Digital Dispatch’s superiority. The flexibility, customisation, and the fact that you only have to pay for My Digital Dispatch once are why I prefer it over Payloadz. The only feature that I feel Payloadz outdoes My Digital Dispatch on is the encrypted and expiring download links. Payloadz does hide the download location of your ebooks and can also set the links to expire after a certain time. However, Socrates has promised that the next version of My Digital Dispatch will have this feature installed. If you are serious about selling ebooks on eBay then you need My Digital Dispatch.

GOOD POINTS

  • Allows you to auto-deliver unlimited digital products on and off eBay instantly, 24/7, whether or not you are on your computer.
  • Allows customised, personalised, messages and signatures to be sent with the digital products.
  • Allows you to keep a transaction and sales log so that you can analyse this data for planning purposes.
  • Works with eBay Auction, Buy It Now, and Store Inventory listings.
  • Once the digital product has been added to My Digital Dispatch there is no need to update auction IDs, listing details etc.
  • The price and currency paid are checked to make sure you get paid the right amount. If the customer underpays or pays in the wrong currency they do not receive the item.
  • No monthly subscription fee - Just a one off payment.

BAD POINTS

  • At the moment My Digital Dispatch does not encrypt or timeout download links (although this has been promised in the next version).
  • You need your own website with MySQL databases and PHP in order to operate My Digital Dispatch.

HOW I HAVE GAINED FROM MY DIGITAL DISPATCH
Well what can I say? My Digital Dispatch has probably been one of the most helpful pieces of software, if not the most helpful piece of software I have come across. It saves me huge amounts of time when running my ebook business (located at http://stores.ebay.co.uk/theebookcavern) as I now no longer have to worry about delivering my products to customers. It’s all done for me by My Digital Dispatch. Plus if I want to promote other websites or products in the delivery emails then I can do so by using the customised email messages and signatures.

Quick Cash Injections Review

Quick Cash Injections!!

EBOOK DETAILS
File Size: 1,287kb Zipped, 1,300kb Unzipped.
Number of Pages: 1 long scrolling page.
Format: Executable (.exe)
Subject: Quick Cash Injections details the methods Sara used when she first started out in Internet Marketing to generate quick cash when needed.

ABOUT SARA BROWN (AUTHOR OF QUICK CASH INJECTIONS)
Sara Brown is one of the UK’s top Internet Marketers. She runs a variety of websites which can all be accessed from http://www.sara-brown.com/choices/. If you want to know more read her About Me page on eBay or subscribe to her newsletter through her websites.

ABOUT QUICK CASH INJECTIONS
After reading An Interview with Sara Brown I was intrigued by her unique income generating methods and had to know more. This led me to purchase her ebook “Quick Cash Injections.” This ebook tells you how Sara generates quick cash injections when she needs them.

In the ebook Sara discusses how to:

  • Get your first set of cash injections within 24-72 hours!!
  • Get your second set of cash injection within 1 week!!
  • Get your third set of cash injections in 2+ weeks!!
  • How to generate quick cash injections with Digital Products!!
  • How to generate quick cash injections with Physical Goods!!
  • How to generate quick cash injections without any product!!

Quick Cash Injections begins with Sara telling you why you need quick cash injections. As she puts it there are some of us who do not have savings and “There are often financial emergencies and unexpected bills that require a sudden cash injection to rectify.” She then goes on to explain how you can generate these quick cash injections in three basic timeframes; 24-72 hours, 1 week, and 2+ weeks. She then sums up the ebook and outlines why soon it will be necessary to generate quick cash injections using the “Pensions Crisis” (where thousands of people are now facing a bleak retirement due to having ten years salary stolen from them) as an example.

As expected I found this ebook to be a very interesting read. I feel some of the methods Sara uses are very good and some are not so good. To conduct this review I will outline each cash injection below and how effective I think it is.

Sara’s first cash injection is reselling ebooks on eBay. She believes that this can provide you with a quick cash injection within 24-72 hours. Whilst the actual chapter does outline some useful tips for ebook sellers (such as using a unique listing title), I have to disagree with the timeframe Sara uses. As I outline in my own ebook “How to set up a Successful, Automated, Ebook Business on eBay” the ebook market on eBay is now very competitive. Simply listing the ebook on eBay does not guarantee you a sale. I think the best method of selling ebooks on eBay is to build a large, constantly expanding, automated ebook business on eBay which requires regular promotion. To achieve this will take considerably longer than 24-72 hours and I personally would not class this method as a quick cash injection.

The next cash injection is making money from other people’s mistakes. I can’t go into too much detail as it will give too much away but I have to agree that this is a very good quick cash injection. When I launched “How to set up a Successful, Automated, Ebook Business on eBay” I made quite a few mistakes, some which could have potentially been very damaging to my sales. Luckily for me I had someone identify these mistakes free of charge, and all before the product was launched. However, I have learnt from this the value of checking for mistakes. The earlier they are identified, the less damaging they can be. Now as I said I can’t reveal exactly how exactly you can make money from other people’s mistakes but it is one of the better 24-72 hour cash injections included in Quick Cash Injections.

The third cash injection is Ebay Arbitrage. Now most Ebay Arbitrage systems I have seen involve a misspelling tool which is still an effective tool but is becoming increasingly widely used. Sara’s arbitrage system involves simply buying goods off eBay and reselling them on eBay for a higher price. I can’t say anymore as it will reveal exactly what she does. Sara also includes an example of the system in action with examples of real goods she has purchased and sold on eBay. This is a good cash injection with the potential for high profit margins but it does require more time than some of the other methods outlined.

Next up is the 1 week cash injections. The first involves buying and selling domain names. This is again another excellent cash injection. Sara gives plenty of good tips in this chapter on which domains should be popular and which domains may not be so popular. She also provides a great resource to get free appraisals on domain names. Although I have not personally dabbled in this area, I have seen others do it successfully so know that there is potential for high profits. Also, it can all be done without even having to leave your PC so I can again see this as being a great method to get quick cash injections.

The second 1 week cash injection involves selling disks (CDs). You don’t need your own product but there are various legal guidelines you need to be aware of when embarking upon this cash injection. Sara outlines them all inside the ebook. My overall opinion on this cash injection is that although it will work I don’t think it is worth the effort when compared to some of the other cash injections mentioned. This idea involves sourcing, packing, and shipping whereas for some of the other injections you don’t have to leave your PC.

The next cash injection involves freelance writing. In this section Sara provides you with an excellent free resource on which contains a database of thousands of jobs for freelance writers. Most people are an expert at something so this is a cash injection worth considering. Personally, I am in two minds about this subject. On the one hand it would be great for me to be paid for writing articles similar to those that I already do. On the other hand if I did write freelance articles for others, I would not be able to use these as promotional tools like I currently do. Overall, opinion on this cash injection is likely to be divided and it all comes down to how you want to use your writing skills.

Following the previous cash injection, Sara provides two website links. The first is a website that lists goods that people don’t want anymore. If you want that person’s goods then they will give them to you for free. What you do with it after is up to you but this is a potentially useful cash injection. The second website is a free list of 1000 money making ideas. I have read a few of the ideas and some are very easy to set up, some not so easy. However, both these websites are a useful bonus and could easily provide quick cash injections.

After this section comes the 2+ weeks cash injections. The first of these is paid online surveys. In this section Sara outlines why you should never pay for access to surveys (to summarise companies aren’t allowed to make you pay to perform market research). She then provides you with a website that gives you access to many free paid surveys. This is an invaluable link as many ebooks charge you for this very information. I personally don’t rate paid surveys too highly. Although you do get paid for sitting at your PC and filling out a survey (which is simple enough) I find it quite boring. If you feel that the money outweighs the boredom or actually enjoy doing surveys then this could be a good cash injection for you to try.

The next cash injection is the car boot sale method. Again I can’t say too much or I will reveal exactly what it is but this is one of my favourites in the ebook. The car boot sale method is basically a technique that Sara uses herself to get goods from a car boot at well below the price they are being sold (and no she doesn’t steal them). Once aquired these goods can be sold separately on eBay or at the place where Sara herself sells them (again I can’t reveal it here). Using this method Sara says that she bought some stock from a car boot for £60 and then sold it for £1,920. Although I haven’t tried this method it does sound like an excellent way to generate a lot of cash for very little work.

The final cash injection is creating your own software without being an expert programmer (or even amateur programmer). Again I can’t reveal how you achieve this here (it’s all revealed in the ebook) but I can tell you that all you have to do is come up with the idea i.e. what function do you want the software to fulfill. Now this income stream will cost you a bit of money to set up but in my opinion the potential returns are well worth it. Out of all the methods mentioned in Quick Cash Injections I think this is one of the best and one that I am seriously considering looking into in the future.

Overall, Quick Cash Injections comes with a mix of ideas but thankfully the good outweighs the bad. I personally don’t think that the ebooks with resell rights chapter would serve as a very good quick cash injection and I don’t rate paid online surveys highly, but on the other hand I think the car boot method and creating your own software cash injections are some of the best money making ideas I have come across. The ebook is worth it’s price for these methods alone.

GOOD POINTS

  • The making money from other people’s mistakes cash injection can generate money within a couple of days, for very little work, without you having to leave your PC.
  • The Ebay Arbitrage System with a little creative thinking can be another great quick cash injection and could even be used as a long term business.
  • Buying and selling domains allows you to generate cash from the comfort of your own PC.
  • The car boot sale method is a unique, easy to implement idea, which requires little time and can produce huge profit margins.
  • The creating your own software cash injection can be used by anyone, and for a small initial investment, could make you a LOT of money.

BAD POINTS

  • I don’t think that reselling ebooks on eBay qualifies as a quick cash injection.
  • Selling disks (CDs) takes a reasonable amount of time and only produces very small profit margins.
  • Paid online surveys can be long, tiring, and often boring.
  • The delivery system delays your access to the ebook which I found quite anno
